Duties and responsibilities:
• To implement all aspects of the quality management systems and site supervision activities provision related to the landscape Works across the project, perform inspections to deliver quality installations in accordance with the contract documents, relevant international standards and local authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible to review technical submittals including shop drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, ITPs RFI’s etc. for softscape, hardscape (Including Precast Concrete pavements and In Situ Concrete), Furniture and Architecture.
• Monitoring and supervising of daily landscape and external construction works on site and to support site team.
• Coordinate with the contractor on overall landscape and other external activities.
• Attends project design and construction progress meetings.
• Material and mock-up inspections and approvals.
• Managing and resolving site planning and coordination issues.
• Provide advice on any landscape and external work problems, issues and deficiencies identified to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
• Managing the project site works in accordance with the approved Master Programme.
• Supervising and monitor the quality and conformity of construction towards the approved drawings, materials and specifications.
• Managing issuance and follow up of Non-Conformance Reports and Site Observations.
• Any other assignment given by PD/SRE related to my discipline.
•Provide technical leadership and management of all landscape design issues requirements of the project for Precinct Landscape, FIFA training pitches and main Stadium Pitch.
•Review, validate, and ensure pitch design drawings are in full compliance of FIFA and SC design guidelines and requirements.
•Design review and monitoring the construction activities of FIFA training pitches and main Stadium pitch in line with FIFA specifications and SC requirements.
•Conducting the review of the all Landscape related submittals (including soft landscape, hardscape, street furniture, jogging/cycling pavement, sidewalks etc.) from Contractor's for RE's final checking and approval.
•Participate in the review of Contractor design submission to ensure that the submittals are compliant with the design intent, programme requirements, contract documents.
•Ensures compliance to Project specifications, approved shop drawings and IFC drawings to guarantee quality of works.
•Monitoring and periodic inspections of SC Nursery for the timely availability and quality of plants.
•Monitoring the Contractor’s maintenance works of completed soft landscape areas.
•Anticipate and solve technical difficulties for the project
•Attends project design and construction progress meetings.
•Responsible to review technical submittals including shop drawings, materials, method statements, ITPs etc. for softscape, hardscape, Furniture and Architecture.
•Review of red line marked-up and as-built drawings and ensure all changes on site are captured
•Review and provide recommendations to RFIs submitted, related to the landscape works
•Material and mock-up inspections and approvals.
•Monitoring and periodic inspections of Project Nursery for the timely availability of plants.
•Support the PM in managing and coordinating the overall activities of the landscaping and hardscaping scope of works.
•Provide advice on any landscape problems, issues and deficiencies identified to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
•Support and coordinate with the other discipline engineers.
•Monitoring and supervising of daily landscape construction works on site and to support site team.
•Monitor and asses the Contractor’s progress as per the agreed schedule
•Reviewing of Contractor’s weekly and monthly progress reports and provides input to the Manager in case of delays.
•Coordinate with the contractor on overall landscape activities.
•Ensure, supervising and monitor the quality and conformity of construction towards the approved drawings, materials and specifications.
•Contribute to the preparation of the weekly and monthly project status reports as required
•Final inspection of the area to verify the landscape works are completed in accordance with Contract Documents.
•Snagging and de-snagging of areas and preparation of outstanding work reports on SnagR and facilitate in handing over to Client.
•Any other assignment given by PM related to my discipline.
•Submittals-Approval process of all landscaping and hardscaping technical submittals.
•Responsible for providing inputs on soft and hardscape
•Communications- Communicating professionally with clients, representatives, consultants and contractors and handle all correspondence needed.
•Support RE- Support the RE in managing and coordinating the overall activities of the landscaping and hardscaping scope of work
•Support and work with Discipline Engineers & cover for Irrigation and Architects when needed
•Mentor and support site engineers- Liaise, mentor and support other professionals on the project site like engineers and technicalities.
•Supervision & inspections of soft and hardscape, building construction & Irrigation operations on site when needed.
•Preparing scientific and technical reports and presentations, developing policy, mentoring, and advising on aspects regarding landscape architecture, interpretations and landscape ecology.
•Inspecting sites, analyzing factors such as climate, soil, flora, fauna, surface and subsurface water and drainage; Making recommendations regarding methods of work and sequences of operations for projects related to the landscape and built environment.
•Conduct physical inspections of works and approved stock periodically, when needed or as per RE approved strategy
•Supervise contractor’s engineers and technicians through site engineers.
•Progress and Reporting- Monitor daily progress with site engineers and advise RE.
•Commissioning & Handing Over- Support the RE in managing and coordinating the overall activities of testing, commissioning and Handing over.
