o Selecting Suppliers for assessment, review Supplier’s responses and make approval decisions
o Specification, identification & sourcing of competitive suppliers for all materials.
o Initiate and manage the tendering process
o Source, Select and Negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of Quality, Price, Terms, Deliveries and Services with suppliers.
o Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
o Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
o Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are delivered to site/store on time.
o Assist in managing and following up Overseas / Local orders.
o Checking availability of each and every material.
o Managing Tender for Sharjah Central Food Lab (Chemicals & Laboratory’s Equipment) in coordination with Health Dept.
o Following up any claims or rejected materials.
o Carrying out planning & operational management of Vendors and Suppliers.
o Lead & execute improvement initiatives.
o Handle complaints and quality assurance matters.
o Maximize leverage in material supply.
o Management of supplier’s agreement and relationship.
o Strategic Material sourcing / modification.
o Negotiate for best purchasing Package (in the terms of quality, price, terms, delivery and service) with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
