• Operations of 100 MVA, 220/110 kV & 12.5MVA, 110/11 kV Power Transformers and 220 kV/110 kV/11 KV Switch gears,
circuit Breakers, Control and Relay Panels, OLTC etc.
• Inspection of Substation equipment such as transformers, pumps, fans, batteries, and circuit breakers to detect defects
and indications of line disturbances and monitoring of BCU, RTU, Capacitor banks CT, PT/CVT etc.
• Communicate with Load Dispatch Centre to report the amount of electricity received into substation, and to receive
switching instructions and report fault and fault locations from distance protection Relay panels.
• Issuing Permit to Work and NBC for Transmission and distribution equipment in Switching Yard as well as in the
220/110/11 kV Feeders for routine maintenance, fault maintenance, and supervision of the same with consent from
Load Dispatch center.
• Controlling of 110V DC Battery sets and charging systems for relay and Control panel supplies, current converters,
voltage transformers and circuit breakers.
• Maintain logs, records SLD/system diagram, reports of substation operating statistics, collect and analyses MOR from
feeding stations, outage/availability, and online data validation.
