• Identify and plan the requirement for designated Indirect material categories based on close dialogue with relevant user departments.
• Source, analyze, select and approve suppliers for designated Indirect Material cate gories in close cooperation with relevant user departments (including supplier audits when relevant)
• Support user departments in ensuring optimal Indirect Material specifications are in place
• Ensure best possible agreements for designated Indirect Material categories, ac cording to the purchasing objectives, by following the Tactical Purchasing Process and utilizing relevant contract formats (including frame agreements etc)
• Place and follow up orders in Matrix based on agreements/contracts when relevant.
• Perform efficient documentation for IFS output (PO, GRN, Invoices) and shipping documents with clearance agents.
• Constantly updating vendor list to ensure processes and procedures are as per Jotun policies and local regulations
• Send weekly reports to all the internal customers showing the status of their pending orders and make sure they are following up on their requests.
• Execute invoices Control by submitting and following up with the finance regularly to facilitate the timely payments and maintain good relationship with supplier.
• Report on agreed KPIs to Purchasing Supervisor & Purchasing Manager
• Check available Qty from daily orders to meet the Target OTIF 95%
• Reserve and create Daily distribution plan that match with requested trucks from
Transportation suppliers (Target 70 Trucks/day)
• Maintain delivery time within 18 hours from reserving orders with Warehouse team.
• Maintain Transportation cost 0.92 EGP as achieved in 2019, 2020 & 2021.
• Archiving delivery tickets after getting signed from the customers.
• Returned material handling.
• Following up with Distribution team the daily dispatching process and issues
• Recording Actual Delivered Orders that dispatched in shifts
• Measuring Total delivered litres for which segment that delivered (Stock points, Local, Export Orders )
• Measure the supplier adherence and the number of needed trucks Vs actual loaded trucks and make sure that the loaded trucks are meeting the distribution targets.
• Measuring the pallets that have been sent to the customers Vs that have been returned from them, to meet the target which is 80 % of what have been sent must be returned.
• Measure the pallet utilization in each truck and make sure that all the trucks are loaded in an efficient way.
• Measure the trucks utilization how many trucks have been 100% utilized vs the number of loaded trucks.
• Handling rented trucks with returned material authorization by making daily reference to the warehouse team and create monthly report with reasons to put highlights on the head problems of returning orders.
• Handling the weekly Invoices for the transportation suppliers and coordinate with finance team to ensure supplier invoices are paid. Making Monthly Cost per liter report to reduce the cost by using efficient alternative without affecting the delivery cycle negatively and emailing it to the distribution Man ager and supply chain manager.
