My basic job is Team leader for design electrical Dept

Reports to Director of Engineering and Product Development
 Evaluate Employees on regular basis establishing and monitoring goals for improvement.
 Identify and establish plans for addressing gaps in skills and training in the electrical design department
 Technical lead for Electrical design department



 Design low voltage control switch-gear panels like MDB, SMDB, DB, synchronizing, MCC, power factor correction, ATS, soft starters and VFDs controllers, pump control and protection.
 Design low and medium voltage load banks.
 Design power system facilities and providing electric solution.
 Handling power system analysis studies using ETAP.
 Issuing drawings SLD, control schematics, BOM, wiring schedule and fabrication for manufacturing.
 Selection and sizing calculations of switch-gear components like circuit breakers, bus bars, protection relays, meters, etc.
 Design and improve electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
 Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
 Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
 Co-ordination and discrimination between upstream and downstream breakers.
 Direct and coordinate design, installation and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
 Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
 Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
 Reviewing of new projects with sales and interface with customers to resolve any technical design issue in specification and drawings.
 Responding to customer questions and requests.
 Gathering information regarding the status of ongoing contracts and issue periodical reports.
 Prepare electrical designs for oil & gas projects.
 Review P &ID’s in order to create electrical drawings & specifications.
 Generate electrical RFQ’s, evaluate quotations and create purchase order requisitions for major electrical equipment and field installation contracts
 Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
 Providing technical support to the sales, procurement, manufacturing and testing.



 Installation & connection of Fire & Gas devices (gas, smoke, heat, and flame detectors, damper actuators, firefighting cylinder solenoid actuators, pressure transmitters, pressure switches, manual call points, solenoid valves, temperature sensors, level switches & transmitters, line monitors, and barriers ), final control elements, and control loop.

 Commissioning of Fire& Gas System for enclosure Generating set in Petroleum Site Such as (PetroGulf Misr Co, Pharonic Co. and Gemsa Co.), and Start Up Generator in site (Offshor).

 Design electrical, control system and select all instrumentation devices of water treatment station in DAPETCO ( PRESSURE TRANSMITTER, LEVEL SWITCHES, VIBRATION SWITCHES AND RTD TEMPRETURES)where the station include of three suction pumps, three Booster pumps, filtration stages and three injection pumps, All protection and control for station by (PLC&HMI), (S7-300 & S7-1200) (TIA_SEMINS), Commissioning and startup for system.

 Design operation & protection panels for multi stages pump (weather ford) in petroleum site (Khalda Co.) By PLC & HMI program (TIA_SEMINS).

 Execution of electrical and control system of pressurized enclosure generating set with the fire & gas system.

 Design Fire & Gas system By PLC & HMI Program (ELOP II_SCHNIEDER).

 Design resistive Load bank medium voltage 11 Kv up to 20 MW

 Design ATS panel By Smart PLC (ZELIO)
