Monitor the operations and coordinate effectively between sales, marketing and workshops.
Look after the workshop activities and provide necessary instructions to workshop manager.
Leading the operations of Machinery hiring department, its workshop and sales.
Investigate the current rental system and optimize the procedures incurred in that.
Assist the Personal officer in staffing, recruitment procedures and planning the staff’s annual leaves.
Review the efficiency of each staffs and forward for appraisal if needed.
Supervise the activities of garage and make sure all works are arranged and done in the maximum possible quality within specified budget.
Control the workflow and site breakdowns by proper preventive maintenance and make sure the quick response team of garage is doing well in attending site breakdowns.
Make sure all workshop staffs are aware of personal protective equipment’s (PPE), its uses and make sure all work have been done on maximum safety.
Ensure all mechanics are making use of job cards and make sure all job cards are marked with jobs done and check for any special inspection or job is needed for the machine.
Ensure all the machines are maintained to the highest standard and make sure all the preventive maintenance has been done on it.
Co-ordinate with the transport department for the timely completion of vehicle traffic passing by pulling the vehicles and machineries from different sites and keep replacement if needed.
Review each purchase orders prepared by workshop coordinator and make changed if needed for the smooth garage operations.
Study the factory operations and investigate on previous breakdowns to find an effective maintenance plan for the factory machineries and its vehicles.
Anticipate the plant shutdown activities and plan accordingly along with production department.
Implement the preventive maintenance practice by train the operators and workshop staffs.
Layout the work structure, plan the maintenance program and implement accordingly.
Perform inventory control function by maintaining logs of spare parts order, storage and tools.
Receives, Review and respond to different complaints and prioritize by different departments. Supervising the repairs of machineries and equipment’s and testing upon completion. Review the maintenance plan implemented and reframe if needed by considering the feedback from production department.
* Ensure all the machines are maintained to the highest possible standard and that they are not jeopardized by prolonged operation without maintenance.
* Attend each and every machine which is out of order and try to troubleshoot, allot the mechanic with the job card.
* Be updated with the maintenance chart and ensure periodic inspections are done efficiently and speedily.
* Design a planned maintenance program for the prioritized machines.
* Arrange training for operators about preventive maintenance and safe operation methods.
* Submit monthly reports about inventory, equipment’s, machineries and its maintenance.
* Evaluate mechanics and electricians and give training if necessary.
* Request the purchase department for the parts which needs the smooth flow of maintenance.
* Implement a safe work atmosphere and ensure mechanics are following the pattern.
* Inspecting the daily maintenance is done for the necessary machines used for work like generators water pump and compressors.
* Supervising fabrication of Oil & Gas storage tanks and its allied Piping’s, its Erection and Inspection procedures.
* Co-ordination of fabrication works like material inspection, marking and cutting inspection, rolling and fit-up inspection, welding inspection and erection.
* Coordinating materials, performing and documenting inspections, reporting progress and resolving conflicts in design and construction activities.
* Ensuring the works is done as per the American Petroleum Institute (API) norms.
Done Mechanical Engineering degree with First class from Mahatma Gandhi university during the date of June 2007 to march 2011. Attended Program for INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. Presented a Paper in NAUTILUS 2K10 IN FISAT Engineering College on topic MICRO COUNTER FLOW HEAT EXCHANGERS. Presented a Paper in SPARKZ 10 IN SNGCE on Topic FEASIBILITY STUDY AND ESTIMATION ON METRO RAIL IN INDIA-KERALA(KOCHIN). Presented Paper in MINDSET 08 IN SNGCE on Topic EMBEDDED ELECTRONICS IN ELECTRO-MECHANICAL SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMOBILE APPLICATIONS.
