• Handling Dangerous Goods shipments by Air/Sea.
• Obtaining OK2FWD and landing approvals from Customs/Shipping line/Airline for DG goods.
• Handling Pharmaceutical logistics operations both via Air/Sea.
• Temperature control shipments/reefer containers handling both via Air/Sea.
• Arranging Thermal Blanket/Datalogger/Smart box for temp. control shipments.
• Ensure that the customer receives a quality service, timely responses and updated statuses
uninterruptedly.
• Work closely with customer-supply planner for confirm inbound shipment’s schedules
• Coordinating inventory availability, vessel connections, space availability etc. to get the requirement
of each shipment fulfilled.
• Liaise with International suppliers, forwarder for goods pick up, verification of documents & custom
clearance.
• Regular follow ups with overseas offices for smooth operation and status updates to customers daily/weekly basis.
• Coordinating with Shipping Line & Co-loaders to arrange telex release and freight payment on time.
• Liaise with shipping lines, port authorities & custom clearance broker for smooth discharge operation.
• Follow up with shipping line for vessel arrival, manifest readiness, D/O collection
• Coordinates with customs brokers and trucking company and ensure delivery instruction and arrange the pickup of cargo from port to Delivery Site
• Check special handling requirements and communicate with warehouses & delivery sites for smooth containers discharge & receipt confirmation.
Coordinate and monitor entire Importlogistics operations.
• Responsiblefor inbound logistics, for all modes of transportation (AIR/SEA)
• Ensure that the customer receives a quality service, timely responses and updated statuses
uninterruptedly.
• Freight checking and negotiation with global agents and nomination of forwarders & vessel.
• Work closely with customer-supply planner for confirm inbound shipment’s schedules
• Coordinating inventory availability, vessel connections, space availability etc. to get the requirement
of each shipment fulfilled.
• Liaise with International suppliers, forwarder for goods pick up, verification of documents & export
custom clearance.
• Coordinating with Docs department for customers timely completion of formalities pertaining to B/L
issuance.
• Coordinating with Shipping Line & Co-loaders to arrange telex release and freight payment.
• Liaise with shipping lines, port authorities & custom clearance broker for smooth discharge
operation.
• Follow up with shipping line for vessel arrival, manifest readiness, D/O collection
• Handle day to day operations for inward/outward clearance of vessel & shipment
• Coordinate with client for required shipping documents and submission to clearing broker for
clearance
• Regular follow ups with clearing agents for smooth custom clearance operation and status updates
to customers daily basis.
• Coordinates with customs brokers and trucking company and Ensure delivery instruction and
arrange the pickup of cargo from port to Delivery Site
• Check special handling requirements and communicate with warehouses & delivery sitesfor smooth
containers discharge &receipt confirmation.
• Responsible to control over containers inside/outside port & empty unit return to container yard after
delivery.
• Attend to customer complaints, Preventive and corrective actions.
• Check correctness of invoices from sub-contractor and Invoice customer without delay and File
closing.
