Day to day management of the stores as per the companies SOP.
Overseeing the Home Center (Electrical appliances, toys, outdoor, luggage)
Overseeing the linen department( bedding, bathroom accessories)
Overseeing the Sports department (male and female sporting attire, sports accessories)
Reviewing merchandising layout
Actioning out of stock by reviewing the replenishment orders.
Maintaining Overall quality, hygiene and customer service of the store.
Allocating staff in departments based on profile.
Analyzing PnL reports to determine poor performing departments and setting up a plan in place to improve sales.
Keeping costs to a minimum by controlling consumables usage and reducing wastages and damages.
• Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Checking the cashier cash ups and deposit slips.
• Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
• Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans, analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
• Reaching sales targets and increasing profits.
• Overseeing stock control and receiving orders.
• Setting stock takes, floor plan, bins and checking variances.

• Managing and motivating a team of 208 staff members to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
• Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organising training and development
