As an Agile Coach:
• As an Agile Coach within Agile PMO helped identifying gaps among scrum teams and employing continuous process improvement.
• Worked with Leadership and Strategic leads in bringing the capacity back to the teams by identifying needed metrics to evaluate and improve time-to-market, reduction in defect count and always maintaining a well refined backlog.
• Used team agility index (maturity assessment) as a baseline for coaching teams on process and areas of improvement.
• In addition to working with 7 active Scrum teams, was identified as the Key Coach to lead the transformation efforts on the first phase of Organizational transformation of Scrum teams towards FLOW adoption.
• Actively coached Leadership, Cloud Architecture, Operations (SRE) teams on FLOW adoption and used Azure DevOps (ADO) tool for effectively planning the releases by coordinating with Change Management on weekly release plans.
• Created ADO Dashboards for capturing Flow Metrics of all teams across Ratings that helped the Scrum Masters and Leadership teams in making better forecasts and predications.
• Within 3.5 months of joining the client (S&P Global) as a Product Manager, was offered the role of Agile Coach through feedback and recommendation from Client (S&P Global) Leadership and Global Head of Agile.
• Facilitated sessions with Leadership and Strategic leads on leveraging Portfolio, Delivery plans, Release timelines and Metrics dashboards
• Created the Portfolio level plans across Product lines for the leadership teams to have better informed discussions with the business and Product teams considering the OKR’s and roadmaps
• Facilitating monthly Agile 101 refresher sessions across S&P Global Ratings division for existing and new joiners on Agile, Scrum, best practices, team working agreements, Ratings Agile framework, process (DOR, DOD, DOB, Waivers), Ratings SOP, ADO overview.
• Group/Individual coaching to Product Leads/Managers on effective maintenance of a matured backlog always with effective story writing and prioritization techniques.
• Collaborated with other Coaches on plans and techniques for accelerating and advancing organization’s transformation.
• Supported hiring decisions as a Recruitment panelist for hiring Agile Coaches, Scrum Masters and Product Managers.
As a Product Manager:
• Successfully delivered 1 phase of the project between June 2020 and Sep 2020.
• First phase delivery involved 50% Ratings applications to register against a common Data Catalogue on the Ratings Data Management System for all its Schema and table attributes, references, relationships and language used on customer specific data to avoid storing any redundant information against each application specific databases that came from Non-ratings specific businesses
• Application response time for those 50% applications was stabilized for Ratings end users, erstwhile reducing the data redundancy caused by non-ratings specific applications and an overall increase in 80% productivity and performance for Rating’s end customers.
Responsibilities:
• Worked closely with counterparts in Portfolio & Product Management, Engineering, Quality, UI/UX Design, Cloud Architecture, Change Management, Operations (SRE) teams to align on the organizations vision, strategy, program backlog and roadmap.
• Brainstorming on solutions with cross functional product teams to address the business/team dependencies and worked with them to get their buy-in on time for an effective business value mapping through features and user stories across sprints.
• Owned backlog refinement, management, prioritization and drove acceptance testing and delivery of iterations through releases.
• Being voice of the customer and providing a business perspective on value delivery to the team by clarifying any queries related to acceptance criteria against the PBI's or user stories
