- Developed and executed a robust Corporate Governance and Compliance program that ensured adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Review and finalize all kind of Agreements and Board Meeting Minutes and Resolutions, PoAs, letters, memos, notices and amending constitution documents (i.e., AOA or MOA) as per the regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze local legislations and regulations which may impact Company’s operations and business units; Submit regular reports with recommendations to the CEO/Management.
- Provide professional legal assistance, advice and counsel with respect to legal rights and obligations and privileges of the firm.
- Any other assignments from Board/CEO as when and required.
- Prepare legal memoranda containing analysis of legal and/or Corporate Governance and Compliance issues and recommendations on appropriate courses of action.
- Review, draft, amend and negotiate legal aspects of JV Agreements, commercial contracts, tender documents, charter-parties, business/purchase agreements, general terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreement, contracts, etc and other agreements to ensure effective implementation of all contractual terms and conditions.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to the management on issues relating to contractual transactions, tenders and terms & conditions.
- Provide ad-hoc advice on specified legal topics concerning on matters related to contractual & commercial agreements, employment laws (including labor laws), HR and staff issues, CR matters, and issues on day-to-day activities.
- Provide support to and share domain-knowledge with the cross-functional teams on all major transactions like acquisitions, mergers, JV's, partnerships, legal restructuring, deal-structuring, financing and investments.
- Review (or oversee review), assess and analyze tenders and documents related to the Section, taking into consideration every legal liability, to minimize discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other Legal Department team members in supporting and sharing domain expertise as and when required; Work in coordination with them in their respective activities and functions.
- Negotiate, draft, amend and review all corporate/support services and commercial related agreements (including tender-documents and real-estate agreements) to identify areas of legal risks, liabilities & financial implications and to ensure their alignment with the company's business interest and effectively communicate all legal concepts and risks to respective departments and General Counsel.
- Review (or oversee review), assess and analyze tenders and documents related to the Section, taking into consideration every legal liability, to minimize discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and support litigators in Qatar on cases governed by the Qatari laws. Assess and approve affiliation of external consultants.
- Liaise with external government entities and QatarEnergy Legal pertaining to legal matters of AMWAJ
- Organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, documenting actions, inputting information into file database and case management software, confirming case with Attorney.
- Updating the clients informed by maintaining contact, communicating case progress.
- Enhancing the trial proceedings by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses.
