I was overall in charge of Aawaz programme implementation and oversight in 6-working district in KPK and Punjab with 81 staff members. Brief description of my roles and responsibilities are narrated below;
•Development, implementation and management of Aawaz Programme activities in 6-district including 3-distant districts.
•As a team lead, I gave my professional inputs to finalize key documents- Theory of change, Communication Policy, Excluded Group Policy, Value for Money, Gender and Implementation Strategies.
•Orientation of project staff on key documents, advocacy campaigns, programme quality reporting and other relevant matters as per guidelines set by donor.
•Coordinating with various thematic Managers to develop brief guidelines on their thematic and support functions.
•Produce and deliver a range of IEC materials i.e. concept notes, training modules, manuals and material, quarterly newsletter, booklets, pamphlets, hand-outs, articles, scripts for street theatre and documentaries.
•Technical backstopping to 6-zonal offices in the field on day to day basis
•Programmatic and financial monitoring of programme activities with the assistance of M&E and Finance team
•Ensure effective review and planning on annual, quarterly, monthly and Weekly basis

•Provided capacity building workshops to support elected councilors to understand their core labour rights and sharpen their inter personal skills

•Facilitated strengthening of elected councilors’ networks with other stakeholders at the local and national level to enhance good governance.

Dakhni Oil & Gas Filed

My first attachment to the field was with Dakhni oils and gas field. Dakhni oil and Gas filed is unique in Pakistan in this regards that apart from oil and Gas production, this filed also produced Sulfur. As the gas in this field is sour so the sulfur recovery plant add in to the income and commodity of OGDC.

Dakhni gave me a lot of experience as I learnt different lab test at this lab comprising liquid hydrocarbons, refinery gases LPG, water and sulfur. I also did gas chromatography test both at Dakhni lab, well equipped with latest instruments.
