• Ensure that accommodation is clean, well maintained and attractively presented.
• Control a budget, manage stock and order supplies.
• Prepare relevant documentations and reports.
• Plan the availability of accommodation for employees, based on nationality, gender, position, and arrival date and coordinate the allocation of accommodation.
• Liaise with Hotel departments and external vendors to arrange laundry and linen supplies; repairs and maintenance; pest control; waste management; supervise the work of cleaning staff and ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all aspects of the accommodation meet hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all new arriving employees receive full orientation on accommodation rules and regulations and are aware of all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment, keep the peace, and act on any actual or potential violations of policies or law. Provide feedback to Human Resources on accommodation incidents; handle disciplinary problems and counsel employees.
• Together with Hotel Human Resources coordinate employee engagement activities in accommodation.
• Design and maintain communication venues (i.e. bulletin boards, flyers, etc.)
• Attend designated meetings.
Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in hotels. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. May purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
Changing bed linen and make beds, replace used towel, Mop the floor and vacuum the carpet, Dust furniture, replace bathroom amenities, cleaning the guest floor corridor, report any technical issues, Handling guest lost and found, double check the room and inspecting room and report to the supervisor or in charge.
