● Lead and manage MEP projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality. Provide oversight for resource allocation, planning, and scheduling.
● Provide on-site supervision for MEP system equipment selection, installation, functionality, integration with automation systems and provide timely design Request for Information (RFI) clarifications to the contractor. Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, stakeholders, ensuring compliance with building codes, quality standards, project baseline program and foster a collaborative environment with clients.
● Review MEP Mechanical design drawings for compliance with project specifications, contractual agreements, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, local regulations, and building standards.
● Review and approve technical submittals, calculations, Building Information Modelling (BIM), CFD analysis, Testing & Commissioning (T&C) scripts, P& ID, drawings, Project Quality Dossier (PQD), Project Quality Plan (PQP), Method Statements (MS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Guarantee & Warranty (G&W), spare parts, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, site diaries, and project dossiers in compliance with project requirements.
● Direct and oversee comprehensive T&C processes for all MEP systems, including integrated testing (IST) for Level III data centers, ensuring compliance with project performance criteria.
● Collaborate with local authorities, review and endorse uploaded documents, ensuring site readiness for inspection, and obtaining final authority approvals.
● Ensure adherence to international and local building construction standards for installations and T&C. Implement quality assurance processes and controls, following approved checklists.
● Work closely with clients and provide technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Represent the company in project progress, quality, and technical review meetings.
● Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site inspectors, ensuring effective coordination among the entire project team.
● Prioritize health and safety protocols on the site, creating a safe working environment for all team members compliance with regulatory safety standards.
● Coordinate with the facility team for permits to work (PTW), training sessions for O&M, final project handovers to the client and support client engineer during defect liability period.
● Prepare construction project management reports, site gap analyses, snag/punch lists, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, and weekly/monthly progress reports.
● Evaluate and endorse recommended payments for contractor bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with approved baseline program.
● Ensure project scope and schedules align within given time frames and budget constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support project planners for baseline programs and mitigation plans.
● Successfully manage contractual agreements, verify BOQ & specifications, scope of work, and address tender queries, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations in pre- and post-contractual stages.
● Witness and approve Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) & Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), conduct daily site inspections for material, installation, and testing and commissioning inspections. Oversee third-party testing, such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), stairwell pressurization, Dry Film Thickness (DFT), pullout tests, smoke tests, disinfection, water & air balancing, torque tests, pressure test and room integrity tests.
● Identify potential risks and challenges related to mechanical systems and develop strategies to mitigate risks and implement corrective actions.
● Develop comprehensive project execution plans with project managers and planners, outlining timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.

● Monitor and control project budgets, engage in value engineering, manage variation orders,
negotiate with vendors/suppliers and subcontractors tactfully. Identify cost-saving opportunities
and ensure efficient resource allocation.
● Support the Quantity Surveyor (QS) in invoice preparation for completed works and maintain
an effective project cash flow in a timely manner.
● Manage the procurement process for mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring timely
delivery and adherence to project budget constraints. Follow up with the purchase department
to facilitate smooth procurement processes.
● Raise technical queries and promptly close out all technical, execution, and Testing &
Commissioning (T&C) issues.
● Prepare and validate ESP excel calculations, re-verify design calculations, drawings, and
submittals before initiating material orders.
● Support and advise draftsmen for the preparation of various drawings. Foster effective
coordination with architects, civil, structural, and electrical teams. Prepare technical submittals,
method statements, inspection test plans, T&C scripts, sequences of operation, and checklists.
● Oversee the preparation and site clearance required for the installation of mechanical systems.
● Review and monitor subcontractor work progress on a daily basis. Handle monthly invoices
and quotations, coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and
quality standards.
● Represent the company in meetings, provide project updates, and address concerns on
technical matters.
● Prepare work permits, coordinate with the safety team, manage health and safety aspects, and
provide a safe working environment.
● Prepare testing and commissioning documents for mechanical systems. Coordinate with the
T&C team, third-party team, and equipment manufacturers to ensure functionality compliance
with project requirements.
● Prepare documents required for authority approval, coordinate site arrangements for
inspections, and obtain AHJ approvals.
● Implement and maintain quality control procedures to guarantee the high standard of
mechanical systems installation/ execution and T&C compliance.
● Conduct risk assessments related to mechanical aspects of projects. Identify potential issues
and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks.
● Manage document changes in the project scope, ensuring proper evaluation and
implementation of changes while minimizing the impact on project timelines.
● Generate requests for inspection/testing, prepare presentations, minutes of meetings, project

Proficiently prepare MEP mechanical drawings, including Plans, Elevations, Sections, and
other details compliance with project requirements.
● Collaborate with Architectural, civil, structural, and electrical services during the preparation of
drawings, ensuring seamless integration of all MEP systems.
● Generate various reports as required. Input accurate and up-to-date data into standard
registers and maintain effective project documentation.
● Support the preparation of specifications and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and contribute to the
detailed planning and cost estimation.
