• Will act as in-charge of the construction supervision of project;
• Will coordinate with all other experts of the construction projects;
• Will report to the Team Leader and PMNC as per the delegation established;
• Directly responsible for regulating the construction processes i.e. various activities like earthwork, sub-base/base courses, bituminous pavement, bridge/culvert works proposed for being carried out under stipulated specifications/manuals, laying of pipelines, construction of building works, area development in ABCD complex and ll utilities forming part of the EPC Contract;
• Will deal directly with the Highway Engineer and other support staff attached with the Highway Engineer to ensure that the construction process is well controlled as per established specification controls to avoid later quality control stage problems;
• Will coordinate and regulate the activities of Material Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, etc. to ensure smooth functioning of the construction package;
• Responsible for ensuring road safety during construction and maintenance period of the project.
Planning and Monitoring of E P C works to complete the Project as per project schedule. Submitting Method statements, designs and Drawings to consultant and getting approvals. Correspondence with client, independent consultant and Govt Departments regarding approvals, utility shifting, Permissions, extension of time if required, change of scope as per concession agreement. Conducting and attending review meetings with EPC contractor, Client, Consultant and other Govt Departments regarding Progress, approvals, Permissions and time schedule. Procurement of all materials as required for Project. Taking utmost care about quality and safety matters by conducting meetings with site staff for Safety awareness. Submitting IPC bills and getting approved by consultant and Client.

Construction and Execution of all Structure works as per design and drawings. Submitting Method statements, designs and Drawings, bar bending schedules to consultant and getting approvals. Preparing daily, monthly Progress Reports, IPC bills, bar bending schedules. Taking utmost care in quality and safety matters. Informing the site matters to Project matters and assisting him to resolve. Checking of all BOQ items quantity calculations. Will coordinate and regulate the activities of Material Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, etc. to ensure smooth functioning of the construction of Bridge and Road works.
