Project Description:
The specialty hospitals consisting of total 1000 beds is distributed between the North and South Towers with total area of 2 Million square meters, project consist of all required medical facilities such as cardiac center, dialysis center, rehabilitation center, general laboratory, Hotel, Housing & utility buildings.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for supervision of Mechanical Works such as Fire Fighting, HVAC, Chilled water systems, medical gases, plumbing, site development & required infrastructure utilities until commissioning and handover.
• Responsible for managing inspections requests, site surveillance & progress review, testing and commissioning.
• Responsible for design check & supervision of mechanical systems, work track with reference to cost and duration of project.
• To review and check constructability of AHU’S, FCU’S, Chillers, plumbing, Fire Fighting, Chilled water system & medical gases systems with international standards such as ASME, ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, IBC, SBC, NFPA, SASO & SAES standards.
• To attend site progress/Coordination meetings with the Client/Contractors for progress track, quality management, site safety, cost management etc.
• Responsible for Preparing & clarifying technical issues on submittals with engineering departments.
• Responsible for approval of contractor progress works (mechanical) with respect to project scope/specifications.
• To develop, check commissioning procedures and to hand over stage.
Job Responsibilities/Role:-
• To redesign the piping, sewage, firefighting & HVAC drawings based on the conceptual drawings provided by the main consultant.
• Responsible for preparing the detail layout of piping shop drawing for the building.
• To prepare critical shop drawings for pump room, mechanical room with different views and sections.
• Review of the complete car park ventilation system, co ordination with supplier for CFD analysis, redesigning the ventilation system as per the site requirement .
• To review mechanical design, to make necessary redesign as per project scope and client approval.
• Co ordinate with site consultant, main contractor and MEP contractor for smooth flow of work on site.
• Thorough Review of Structural, architectural, electrical and Mechanical drawings and on site condition for co ordination of discipline works.
• To check the conceptual design for any on site modification required.
• Lead a Team of draft man for preparation of shop drawings (By providing necessary mark up’s) using Auto Cad 2010 or advance.
• Monitor & Coordinate Site activities by coordinating with disciplinary site engineers, Sub-Contractors, supplier, venders etc.
• Track on field modifications, installation difficulties and providing solution proposals.
• Calculation of Water Transfer pump Head for the project.
• Efficiently planning the work and organizing the facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• To take out the Quantity of the Materials as per Approved Drawings & assisting procurement department.
• To prepare working drawing for Sewage piping, Fire Fighting, Water Services, HVAC ducting and piping as per specification and discipline standards.
• Thorough review of project scope and specification, responsible for the preparation of co ordination drawings for the project.
• To calculate the location of pressure regulating valve for water services.
Designation: Site engineer (MEP) from March 2008 to July 2009.
Project: GTC 78 up gradation of Gharrafa and West Bay Pumping Stations and GTC-109 Madinat AL
Shamal RPS and Associated Pipeline.
Responsibilities/Role:
1. To handle various MEP projects and assist project work till the testing commissioning of the project and deliverance to the client after completion of it.
2. To coordinate with main contractor as well as subcontractors for project execution as per given specifications.
3. Review design and coordinate with consultant for shop drawing approval.
4. Monthly Site progress review, supervision and request for inspection.
5. Practical approach to installation.
6. Progress track for bill claim.
7. To attend weekly Site progress, review meetings with client/main contractor.
8. To do Material Takeoff for the project.
