● Inspections & monitoring on fabrication shops and on board FPSO Vessels for piping spools fabrication, erections, line walk, pressure testing, reinstatement, punch closure, tri-party walk down and final system hand over.
● Ensure that the work is carried out as per the requirements of International Codes and standards and project specification.
● Material inspection and review of material test certificate (MTC)
● Maintaining the welder/welder operator continuity records.
● Stage wise inspection before, during and after fabrication.
● Witnessing and reviewing of all equipments, gauges and tools calibration and their
Documentation.
● Daily checking the welding consumable, main stores and their documents.
● Verification of as built drawings and submitting to the client for approval.
● Routine inspections of fit up visual inspections of piping systems as per the RFI on fab shops and on board vessel.
● Preparation & reviewing of Piping Test Packs, weld traceability and ensuring the required NDT are carried out for piping systems as per the requirements.
● Perform line walk on pipe systems as per the test pack limits and producing punch list.
● Punch list closure and releasing for the pressure test.
● Witnessing of pressure test/air test and ensuring the required test pressure is maintained throughout the holding time. Also, verifying all the “A” punches are cleared before starting the pressure up.
● Reinstatement inspections of the pipeline and ensuring the entire hydro test removable are replaced and the punches are closed.
● Stage wise inspection of painting before, during and after completion of process.
● Responsible for painting inspection and inspection of surface preparation of steel prior to painting application.
● Check calibration certificate for all painting inspection equipment.
● Continuous monitoring of welder performance and verifying the job is carried out by the qualified welders.
● Performs visual checks after blasting.
● Preparations and arrangement of documents as per the final documentation procedure and submitting to Owner and the Class for approval.
