RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working closely daily with the planners of the contractor to monitor and/or amend the Contractor’s baseline program of Work.
• Reviews and assesses the work sequences with the total project plan.
• Preparing schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations.
• Evaluation and control of the assigned project schedules and performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring of the planning/scheduling.
• Providing detailed review, analysis and monitoring of the procurement and construction programs of the Contractor, Subcontractors and Utilities.
• Maintaining records of monitoring of the program to enable input and support to the Resident Engineer and Senior Quantity Surveyor to evaluate any related Contractor claims and variations as considered necessary.
• Identifies, analyzes, and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
• Verifying actual progress and comparing actual performances to original plans.
• Monitoring, adjusting, and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and the consolidating of these results in monthly reports.
• Estimating time element of change orders and submits his analysis to the Engineer and incorporating within the master schedule after authorization.
• Evaluating Contractor’s Extension of Time requests and preparing recommendations to the Engineer.
• Led, directed, and monitored the performance of all site engineers and support staff under their control.
• Monitoring the contractor's program of work to ensure on-time delivery.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for main contractor/ sub-contractor site staff for all project issues.
• Reviewing claims from the contractor and preparing responses. Negotiating with contractors regarding the value of claims or any changes in schedule.
• Reporting to the Senior Resident Engineer regarding staffing status, progress of work, problems needing resolution, and suggested solutions.
• Assisting the client in review, negotiation and settlement of claims arising out of disputes with a contractor.

• Project Planning, Cost Loading, Updating, and Monitoring & Controlling using Primavera P6 software.
• Prepare monthly progress reports with cash flow, resource histogram and physical progress curve and attend to the progress meeting with client and contractor.
• Preparation of Look ahead schedule and catch-up schedules for client.
• Preparation and tracking of the project master schedule / baseline and summary level curves and manpower histogram.
• Review, check and evaluate the Contractor’s time schedule of works.
• Following the review, acceptance / rejection of the Contractor’s time schedule recommendation to the Engineer (PMC) and Client for approval.
• Monitor the work progress, compared to the accepted program of work.
• Coordination with the Quantity Surveyor and jointly measure the progress of works for monthly invoices.
• Coordinate with the contractor to produce recovery work programs in case of delays and he will participate in assessment and analysis of time related claims.
• Coordinate with the Planning Engineers of Client/PMC and the Contractor on all scheduling issues and progress.
• Prepare weekly, monthly (or any period agreed with the Engineer (PMC) / Client) reports about the status of construction progress.
• Evaluate, and forecast project progress and performance against the established accepted / amended schedule with critical milestones.
• Assess the impact(s) of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Inform the Planning Manager (for informing PMC / Client) of any potential delays in the project completion or the milestones.
• Analyze, assess and participate in discussions about any suggested recovery program by the Contractor to mitigate any delay
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop the detailed program of works and prepare the submission package as specified in the Contract and revise this program during construction as required.
• Load the anticipated income to the program activities and generate cash flow projections that will be provided to the Project Manager for further processing.
• Load the required Manpower and Equipment to the program activities and generate tables and histogram with the anticipated project requirements.
• Generate the schedules of Manpower and Equipment that will be forwarded to the Operations Centre of the Company
• Load the major quantities to the program activities and monitor key performance indicator as agreed with the Project Manager and the Senior Planning Manager
• Collect from site all necessary information and prepare the required Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Develop further detailed internal program as well methods of construction for major items of the Project
• Identify delay situations and in coordination with the Commercial Manager of the project maintain a list with the delay events/areas of concern that will be included in the Monthly Progress Report.
• Review all the documents (Letters, Request for Information, Site Inspection Request, Variation Orders, Drawings etc.) and identify the ones related to the delay events that will be used for preparation of claims for extension of time
• Experienced with implementation of standard methods of delay analysis (As Planned Impacted, Time Impacts Analysis etc.) for the preparation of claims for extension of time.
