MEGA Reservoir Project (Rawdat Rasheed -PRPS 3) Dec 2018 to Present- (Value 1.8 Billion QAR) Client- KAHRAMAA, PMC- ENERGOPROJEKT-- Entel, Design & Site Supervision-ARCADIS

Work involved procurement, installation, testing & commissioning of MEP installations which includes Fire-fighting network, Chlorination system, Potable water network, HVAC system for the Mega reservoir ( Package 3) being built for Kahramaa, coordinating with various vendors/subcontractors/ authorities for the submission & approval of documents, procurement, installation & commissioning works of these systems along with the commissioning of the Process water pumping system (4nos LV & 5 nos. MV pumps) which is integrated with SCADA/ DCS, attending technical & progress meetings between Client representatives, PMC & with various end users related to progress of these works. Reviewing of monthly payment certificates & monthly progress reports, Managing of NCR's & SOR's, Strict implementation of the safety plans and attending site safety walks.

Manateq QEZ3 Project, Umm Al Houl. Jan 2017 to Nov 2018 (Value 650 Million QAR)
Client- MANATEQ QEZ 3, Consultant- Egis

Work involved construction of all the infrastructure works for the development of Qatar Economic Zone 3, MANATEQ, Package 3.1 A/ 3.1 B project at Umm Al-Houl. Responsible for the procurement, installation, testing & commissioning of TSE, Potable water, Fire Water, Storm Water, Foul Sewer networks as per project specification and reviewing all the shop drawings which have been produced as per the IFC drawings for approval from the client, Overseeing the design and making changes to the design if necessary as per site conditions, planning and scheduling of the work as per project scope, assess the work which have been done at site and to raise any claims for variations for abortive works with the client, checking the design and raising RFI's, attending progress review meeting with the client. Work also included the Design & Build of 4500 m3/day Sewage Treatment Plant/ Waste Water Treatment plant using SBR process as per ASHGHAL standards inside the QEZ3 area.

Al Bustan Project (5-star hotel at Rawdat Al Khalil)

Procurement & installation of chillers, AHU’s, FCU’s, ducts, chilled water lines & chilled water pumps for the 5-star hotel project at Doha. Main contractor was Al-Bhandari Engineering. Work included submittal of materials, method statements for approval, production and review of shop drawings for approval from the clients, meeting KPI targets, raising RFI’s and attending all progress review meetings.


MARAFEQ COMM3(SEG)& Lusail Yacht Club Project (JV between Al Jaber & Ceinsa)

Primary side ETS installation and commissioning for the prestigious Lusail Yacht Club project at Lusail Marina and COMM3 Project (SEG Qatar) as per Marafeq specifications.
Work included submittal of materials, method statements for approval, production and review of shop drawings for approval from the clients, meeting the KPI targets, raising RFI’s and attending all progress review meetings.

KEO International Consultants, Qatar
Project Engineer- Mechanical, July 2012 - Feb 2016

Work responsibility involved Infrastructure development of Al Erkya site in Lusail along with the main contractor (Bin-Omran Trading & Cont.) which included approval of all the contract documents related to mechanical works shop drawings, material submittals, ITP & procedures for services which included laying of pre-insulated District cooling pipes up to dia.30 inch and pre-insulated valves, their welding works, inspection of welding as per WPS, laying of irrigation lines, laying of HDPE gas lines for SNG network, laying of DI pipes for potable water network, laying of VC pipes for storm & sewer pipes, testing of all these services as per ITP's of Marafeq for DC and SNG pipes, QCS/KAHRAMAA/ ASHGHAL standards for the other services.

I was also involved in the capacity up gradation project of the 2nd Phase Industrial Area Sewage Treatment Plant which was expanded from 12000 m3/day to 30000/m3day for ASHGHAL. Work included approval of the project documents including the design drawings, installation, inspection & commissioning of new Grit removal system with bar screen, blowers for two new SBR and their related pipes & fittings, new Ultra Filtration system with pipe connections, pumps for Effluent pumping station, refurbishment of piping’s for SAS tanks, additional blower and piping for aerobic tanks, centrifuge installation with pumps & piping & installation of all pumps as per the ITP & procedures.
I also worked in the Operation & Maintenance framework contract of the Sewage Treatment Plants/ Waste Water Treatment Plants and Pumping stations of ASHGHAL while at KEO. Work included site inspections of maintenance works being carried out, performance reporting of all the Sewage Treatment Plants, PTP's & pumping stations in North Qatar & Doha area, maintenance activities required & follow up of the functioning of the plants as per Ashghal standards.

Worked as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for MECC, Kuwait, for their Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) project inside Ahmadi KOC township area. Responsibilities included refurbishment and maintenance of plumbing & HVAC services in the KOC main office buildings, residential units, recreation facilities like club house, swimming pools, bowling areas under KOC in the Ahmadi township area buildings under KOC, meeting the required KPI targets by coordinating with various working groups regarding the activities, Procurement of materials as per contract specifications, getting approval for the smooth running of the project, ensuring that the work is carried out as per the technical work instruction & approved specifications & inspection test plan (ITP). Raising RFI’s for any changes in installation plan, making changes in the design as per the clients’ requirements and getting approval for the installation design for HVAC, plumbing, F/F in these areas under KOC.

Worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Procurement & Tendering division of Asia Electro-Mechanical Co. from March 2010 to September 2010. Reporting to the Managing Partner regarding the performance of the team, meeting up with various consultants for approval/ inclusion of available products for various projects for which the company was sole distributor, approval of material submittals for various construction projects.

Worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with United Gulf Construction Company from December 2007 till Nov 2009. In-charge of the Mechanical activities of the Kuwait Ministry of Public Works - Sewage Treatment Plant project at Umm Al-Hymann, Kuwait. Undertook safety and engineering responsibilities for procurement, installation, testing & commissioning for major rotating equipments, HVAC, plumbing, drainage, major rotating equipments, coordinated maintenance activities in support of operations & maintenance, reporting directly to MPW officials regarding the maintenance of any equipments, preparation of as built drawings for the new equipments installed and handover. Key responsibilities included Understanding the scope of works as per contract documents, material take offs, selection of appropriate equipments as per design and specifications, preparation of material submittals for gaining approvals, preparation of method statements, preparation of Risk assessment for tasks, installation of mechanical services, testing & commissioning activities, preparation of O&M manuals, preparation of as built documents & handover and delivery of projects

Worked as MEP Engineer with GFS General Trading & Contracting Company from February 2007 till November 2007 at the mixed use Arraya Tower 2 building of Salhiya Real Estate Company, Kuwait. Responsibilities included implementation of work as per schedule of the main contractor, follow up of the job in accordance with quality & safety plan, Coordinating for making changes in shop drawings & raising RFI’s for any changes required in the installation and getting it approved, testing & commissioning the installed services with main contractor & consultant & monthly job billing for the work done at site. The project included installation of HVAC services such as Chillers, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Chilled Water Pumps, Condenser Water Pumps, erection of 20” Carbon Steel pipes for Condenser water risers, erection of 16” to 8” Black steel pipes for Chilled Water risers & Plumbing services which includes installation of Cold & Hot water Supply & Drainage services, Duplex Pumps for Water Supply. Main Contractor was Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Co., Consultant was PAN Arab Consulting Engineers.
Also involved in the installation of HVAC services such as Chillers, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Chilled Water Pumps, Condenser Water Pumps, testing and commissioning of CWS/ HWS & chilled water supply lines for HVAC services including AHU's, FCU's during the construction of Jumeirah Messila Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. The hotel consists of 316 rooms & suites, 80 serviced apartments & 12 villas. Consultant was Gulf Consultants.

Worked with the Ministry of Electricity & Water, Kuwait from 29th April 2002 to Febrauary 2007. Working as a Mechanical Engineer at the General Auxiliaries of the 2400 MW Doha West Power Station & Water Distillation Plant
Assignments include reporting to the Senior Operation Engineer regarding the performance of overall auxiliaries of the plant which includes Sea Water pumps, Fuel oil pumps, Motors, Chillers & Air handling units for HVAC and also matters relating to maintenance of these equipments & their 11 KV and 415 V breakers.
Worked also in the Operations & Maintenance department of 8x300 MW Boiler & Turbine operations at the 2400 MW Sabiya Power Station, Kuwait.

I also have experience working in both DCS & PLC system.

Worked as Regal Construction for their Regal Avalon residential building, which consists of 13 floors of 3 apartments each, from June 2001 to April 2002. Responsibilities included coordinating with the sub- contract for implementation of work as per schedule, follow up of the job in accordance with quality & safety plan, Coordinating in shop drawings for any changes required in the installation of CWS/ HWS pipe lines, Firefighting risers, Drain water pipes, potable water pumps, firefighting pumps, valves, installation of all accessories for bathrooms &toilets, testing & commissioning of the installed services with the local authority & monthly job billing for the work done at site. The project also included installation of split units for HVAC for all apartments, RO system for potable water system.

Planning & Supervision of Maintenance and reporting to the Manager (Operations) in areas relating to Maintenance & Production.
