Red-Green-Gold Lines Major Stations, Doha Metro Project - 36 km metro lines with 34 metro stations, trains depot and stabling yards
Notable Highlights of the Role:
• Leveraging strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills in resolving & settling issues between the parties addressed in ICF document and preparing FCR and SVR document to map unsolved and solved issues at site.
• Reviewing business and operational units with a view to bring about the ideal structure to facilitate governance and controls and to optimise operational productivity
• Adhered to the SHE/HSSE, security, environment, emergency, system safety, and System RAM Plan with key involvement in preliminary hazard identification and analysis, system and subsystems safety requirements, evacuation and rescue concept, etc.
• Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution; involving finalization of technical specifications, scheduling, progress monitoring, site management and manpower planning.
• Coordinating all system design and construction activities i.e. signalling, track, telecom, energy, third rail, TVS and between system and civil; representing the company to clients, government authorities, vendors and subcontractors.
• Strategically contributing in systematic planning of the construction remedial works, inspection, T&C works and equipment maintenance works.
• Monitoring Systems work such as installation of power Sub Station and Distribution works, UPS, BACS systems, railway, rail grinding, Tunnel Ventilation System, Signalling and other System related activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establishing project review, monitoring and status reporting procedures to accurately report progress of the project to the stakeholders and end user clients; scheduling work to achieve effective manpower deployment of qualified workforce.
• Safeguarding the weekly progress by attending all scheduled site progress meetings to ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental policies and organising/attending workshop to derive measures for expediting project progress.
• Steering holistic solutions to meet safety and environmental compliance during execution as an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Holder.
• Channelizing and implementing standard communication procedure for all parties/contractors across length and breadth of communication measures viz. site coordination, mails, meetings and formal letter, etc.
• As a System integration Manager, providing consistent and structured approach for end-to-end integration management and following project baseline aimed to achieve milestones, scope, and time and cost parameters.
• Solving design, installation, T&C and PPM issues with technical and interface management method using tools vis.-a-vis. arranging integration meeting, workshop meeting and site visit, etc.
• M7 36 km Kabataş- Mahmutbey Metro Line with 19 metro stations and stabling yards. Alarko was rewarded the tender worth 700 million euro including 2 years warranty periods and breakdown service and maintenance.
• M2 10 km Yenikapı- Hacıosman Metro Line 2 phase with 9 metro stations and stabling yards. Alarko earned 400 million euro the tender with 2 years warranty spanning breakdown service and maintenance.
Notable Highlights of the Role:
• Capitalised on the overall experience in managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project right from scoping, risk assessment, meeting milestones and reviewing team deliverables before handling over to the client.
• Handled overall project deliverables by providing technical expertise and management in various phases of the project viz. projects engineering, procurement, meeting supplies & materials requirement and handing over procedures while ensuring to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals are successfully met.
• Adhered to the SHE/HSSE, security, environment, emergency, system safety, and System RAM Plan with key involvement in preliminary hazard identification and analysis, system and subsystems safety requirements, evacuation and rescue concept, etc.
• Agile role in controlling railway system shop drawings include space proofing, according to dynamic and static train size; interfaced with the project commissioning consultants to ensure that all projects are commissioned as per contract requirements.
• Observed work such as installation of power Sub Station and Distribution works, UPS, HVAC, PSD, BACS systems, railway, rail grinding and other activities as required.
• Ace skills with detailed understanding of contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedules to advise CEO as necessary.
• Designed operation, maintenance and breakdown systems, further to which coordinated operations & service activities i.e. Periodic Planed Maintenance (PPM) and emergency & non-emergency breakdown cover.

• Administered Golden Horn Railway Bridge systems across installation, T&C and maintenance phases including SCADA, Fire alarm & extinguishing, hydraulic open-close, safety sensors, cathodic protection, and earthquake protection, etc.
• Exploited industrial experience in diligently coordinating, planning and reviewing the progress of the contractors works followed by providing suggestion on the low performing areas concerning: Signalling, Energy, Tunnel Ventilation, Telecommunications, Platform Screen doors, SCADA, ICC / ECC and AFC, etc.
• Served in an advisory role on the estimates prepared by the QS/Cost Control, besides, collating and analysing periodic cost reports to monitor cost performance.
• Shouldered the accountability of conducting system operational training spanning preparing training instruments, operations and maintenance manuals and documents.

M2 10 km Yenikapı - Hacıosman Metro Line second phase with 4 metro stations. Alarko was rewarded 330 million euro tender including 2 years warranty and execution of breakdown service and maintenance works during warranty.
Notable Highlights of the Role:
• Tasked to manage the array of integration activities considering scope, time, quality, and risk parameters in addition to handling Grinding Machine procurement, effective handling of sequencing activities and following project baseline to achieve milestones.
• Imperative role in solving design, installation, T&C and PPM issues by arranging integration meeting, workshop meeting and site visit, etc.; reviewed reports of technical documents and checked for services interface and integration.
• Effectuated standard communication procedure for all parties/contractors across all communication channels i.e. site coordination, mails, meetings and formal letter, etc.
• Ensured project success by tracking weekly progress reports and attending all scheduled site progress meetings to monitor and manage the completion of project in line with quality, safety and environmental policies.
• Adhered to the SHE/HSSE, security, environment, emergency, system safety, and System RAM Plan with key involvement in preliminary hazard identification and analysis, system and subsystems safety requirements, evacuation and rescue concept, etc.
• Rolled-out the planned requirements before project activities commencement and inducted the involved manpower in safety and security procedures, PTW for their job, PPE, CCRM for truck site, etc. followed by rubbish disposable, motor oil, scrap, etc. in accordance with the plans.
• Oversaw the testing and commissioning of systems equipment and the review and approval process for all mechanical and technical submittals.
• Assisted project team in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules and prepared recommendations on claims - approval or rejection.
