• Analyze Blueprints & other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates, Pre‐and post‐contract Quantification & valuation, draw accurate estimates & monitor the development in the overall project.
• Estimating cost to completion of project with rate analysis of direct cost/indirect cost. Regular review of expenditure against budget & cost control at site to avoid over budget expense. Preparation & submission of claims as per contract.
• Independently verifying variation costs submitted by the Contractor, regular review with client, consultants & contractors for ensuring execution as per contractual terms in the agreement, handling disputes & confusions with regards to agreement.
• Ensuring contract awareness down the line providing clarity to the team about contract, project scope and related terms and conditions, avoiding additional costs due to ambiguity in understanding.
• Prepare cost & expenditure statements at regular intervals for the duration of the project, valuation of completed & progress of jobs, assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services
• Confer with engineers, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates, present estimates to the management for planning, organizing, scheduling work, and resolve issues related to billing.
• Maintaining project diary (commercial / contractual issues), Monthly Dashboards, Cost Control & Change management files.
• Contract management involving all activities like generation of Order of Magnitudes, Estimates BOQ’s as per NRM 1 and 2 preparations, Tender Risk Evaluation, Estimation & Cost Control from award till final handover, safeguarding all contractual liabilities of company & generating commercial benefits.
• Provisional‐ Value Engineering, Construction Packages Commercial Evaluation, Cost management services during Construction and Claims Management services
Reporting to Managing Director, assisting him in contractual & financial aspects.
