Head of Technology
• Provide technology leadership to a team of technologists, including hiring, workload management,
coaching, development, performance management, discipline and termination.
• Contribute to IT business planning including development & management of budgetary proposals and
forecasts for delivering IT infrastructure services.
• Participate and initiate collaborative planning processes for business technology, including “make vs.
buy” decisions for technology.
• Ensure IT infrastructure services support the availability and reliability needs of a global business.
• Identify opportunities to solve business challenges by modernizing and continually improving IT
infrastructure services.
• Have knowledge and experience with server systems, global networking and connectivity, identity and
access technologies, systems management and monitoring practices
• Oversee technical designs providing high levels of reliability for systems while complying with
enterprise architecture and security standards, industry regulations and best practices.
• Lead complex projects that require in-depth knowledge in multiple infrastructure & operations
technical disciplines.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and resourcing schedules. Form alliances on projects to make
operational decisions, resolve scheduling requirements/conflicts.
• Ensure that IT projects in support of customer needs are delivered in a timely manner and within a
prescribed budget; identify, evaluate, and mitigate the risks affecting any project.
• Communicate complex technology issues and solutions to non-technical senior leaders & executives.
• Support and ensure ISO 27001/22301/9001 PCI-DSS, SOC2, and ITIL compliance within the IT
• Maintain excellent communication channels between the IT department and the customer groups.
• Directing the overall management, development, and enforcement of the information technology
security architecture, including network security;
