Created strategic plans for the software development team to migrate all AESA’s internal applications and digital touch points to connect to a new core system. This is a major project that involves adaptation or redevelopment of all applications as part of the core system migration project.
5 Core development teams were formed for the system migration project. This involved intensive planning, recruiting, and training.
Executed the software development plan throughout 2021 and continuing the execution of the plan in 2022. The 5 Core development teams were utilized to execute the development plan using agile methodologies. Daily/weekly scrum meetings were held to monitor Day-to-Day progress and progress is reported to the Project management Team.
Core System Data migration: In this project I managed a very sensitive task to migrate the data from the old core system to the new core system. In this project, we created migration templates and performed ETL.
Ensured day-to-day software support to business teams and clients for the current systems is provided by the software support team as per the SLAs.
Core system migration implementation and testing: Managed Software Engineering team to participate in the core system migration project throughout the SDLC.
Acted as a technical project manager in implementing a lead management system. Responsibilities included managing requirement gathering and analysis, managing process flow development, managing necessary documentations, defining and sequence activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring stakeholders’ satisfaction.
Took lead in enhancing data integration with SIMAH credit bureau for the commercial and consumer sectors. This has resulted in a significant increase in data quality which resulted the institute to rank in the top 1 countrywide.
Worked as the Software Architecture team leader. With this role, I lead the team on implementing software architecture standards that are followed in various projects that support the business needs.
Managed Implementation of BAYAN credit bureau Data Import. In this project, I managed the team in defining the data, developing data mapping from core system, and generating file feeds that are fed to Bayan to provide them with the data as per the credit risk requirements.
Implemented integration with Amazon’s Payfort online payment system. In this project I managed an offshore team to analyze, architect, and implement an integration core system and Amazon’s Payfort system that resulted in the data to be available at Amazon’s environment to fulfil the business requirements in managing disputes, cost of payments, and remittances.
Developed New product’s statementing system. This includes data management, SSRS reports generation, legal statement generation, and VAT invoice generation.
Implemented integration with a collection management system. In this project, I managed a local team as well as an offshore team to analyze, architect, and implement the data integration from core system to the collection management system.
Implemented and enforced a source code quality review platform (Parasoft DTP)
Worked as technical manager for a product migration project. In this project we migrated some products from one type to another and this involved product config updates, Credit Bureau feed changes, statement generation and email dispatch updates as well as other changes.
Managed implementation of Digital Signature. In this project, I managed the implementation and overall technical aspects of this project. This project utilizes a digital signature service from STC Solutions accredited by the government of Saudi Arabia to create a web application that can be integrated with other applications using Identity server to pass documents and have them signed by the user.
- Managed and developed integrated application infrastructure core services.
- Worked as an IT project manager for SAS AML data integration. This included managing activities for complex data analysis & mapping, data development & migration.
- Took initiative to implement an integration with Elm's Yakeen services with Am Ex's core system to support credit risk management.
- Participated in implementing fully automated system operations by automating the manual operational processes to minimize human intervention on the process workflow. This allowed a much smoother workflows to be implemented and automated.
- Implemented and managed Product Co-Branding with Saudi Arabian Airlines. This included member auto enrollment, accrual, and tier upgrade processes.
- Analyzed, designed, developed, documented and managed integrated solutions for external clients and internal systems. This includes developing web services, APIs, and data files.
- Established a direct billing system by developing integrated services with STC to allow STC to provide AMEX client's mobile bills which will be paid and settled automatically by the system using the client's credit card. The system greatly minimized mobile phone bill settlement workload on larger corporate customers.
- Developed an E-service monitoring system and integrated it with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This included complex data merging from different sources (mobile app database, consumer interactive front end database, AR system back end database, and other sources).
- Enhanced data integration on internal systems to deliver more effective solutions.
Worked as an IT specialist in Application development and support department. I have utilized .NET, BizTalk, Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS technologies to perform the below tasks:
- Reporting: Developed and automated custom reports generated directly from database as per business requirements.
- Developed various solutions in .NET and Oracle PL/SQL (Stored procedures, DB functions, tables, triggers, etc) and BizTalk to enhance IT processes' workflows.
- Used .NET and Oracle PL/SQL to developed standard data files both for merchants and corporate customers.
- Administrated AMEX's loyalty program (membership rewards) system. This included user management, case investigation, configuration and monitoring.
- Worked as an IT point of contact with Etihad for all AMEX-Etihad co-brand products.

- eGMIS: A daily and monthly data feed files used for integration with American Express Global Network and International Card Services (AE GNICS). Technologies used on this project: PL/SQL and .NET (C#)
- Direct Debit: Redeveloped Amex's Automatic payment system for more stability, efficiency and effectiveness. Technologies used on this project: PL/SQL (stored procedures, tables, triggers) and .NET (C#)
- EPA: Developed AMEX's standard merchant payment file. Technologies used on this project: PL/SQL, .NET (C#).
- Expense Feed File: Analysed, designed and developed a generic expense file with keeping in mind that different clients have different requirements. The file was developed in a way that file contents can be fully configurable to meet the requirements of different corporate customers. Technologies used on this project: PL/SQL, .NET (C#)
- AuthParameters: A web app and set of web services that allows FPU unit to control authorization parameters in a very convenient way. Technologies used on this project: PL-SQL, .NET (Web services, ASPX, C#), BizTalk, HTML, JavaScript, and HTML.
Assisting in designing and developing ASP.NET web applications. I have designed a front end design and implemented various parts of projects that used C#, Javascript, JQuery, HTML/CSS.
