DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere with Hospital Policy and Philosophy.
- Documentation.
- Patient and Family Health Education.
- Check the E-cart, Narcotic, and Room Setup.
- Participate in the round and discuss the Doctor's Patient Condition such as Vital Sign Last Laboratory Results, intake and Output Chart, Medications and Any Significant Problems for the Patient.
- Assist Doctor in all Procedures such as Chest Tube Insertion, Central Line Insertion, Arterial Line Insertion, Pic Catheter Insertion, Thoracocenthesis, Lumber Puncture, Bone Marrow Aspiration, Intubation and Extubation, Bronchoscopy, Endoscopy.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
- Deal with Patent on Advance Sitting of Continues Invasive Homodynamic Monitoring.
- Assess and Education New Staff in the Unit.
- Physical Examination.
- Pain Management.
- Prepare and Administer Regular Medications.
- Administer Chemotherapy over 24 Hours and IV Push.
- Draw all Blood Sample centrally and peripherally.
- Insert Peripheral Access.
- Deal with High Alert Medication/Continues Infusion (Interpose, Sedation, Paralytic Agent, Heparin, Insulin and TPN)
- Insertion of Nasogastric and Or Gastric Tubes, Folly Catheter, Arterial Line and Hupper Needle of Portcath.
- Draw ABG's.
- Care of ETT, Tracheostomy and Suctioning.
- Deal and Care for Surgical Drains.
- Transfuse PRBC's, Platelets, FFP, Cryoprecipitate and Granulocytes.
- Positioning of the Patients.
- Deal with Isolation Precautions (Contac, Protective, Air Porn and Body Fluid Precautions)
- Prepare all Types of Feeding.
- Stomas (Tracheostomy, Gastrestomy, Nephrostomy, Colostomy, Urostomy) Care and Dealing with Gastrostomy Feeding Protocol.
