West Qurna 1 Oil Field
- Safely line-up, start up and bring on stream the recently installed and commissioned packages of equipment installed and commissioning.
- Act as a key focal point in the Turnover of the equipment from the commissioning team to the operations team providing knowledge and guidance during this key stage to ensure process and operational safety and integrity is maintained at all times.
- Ensure the operations procedures at site are reflective of the new equipment and the correct daily surveillance duties are up-dated to reflect the new equipment.
- Coach and Mentor the local Iraqi workforce with a view to the plant operations team taking over the operation of the equipment.
- Assist the control room with the additional equipment, alarm management and surveillance activities.
- To carry out the operation of Gas and Oil plant and production/utility related equipment, chemical storage and chemical injection systems safely and efficiently and to ensure safe management of the facility.
- Ensure the safe and the efficient operation of process plant, systems and association equipment during steady operations
- Start-up, operate, optimize and shut down process and process-related plant, water injection, water treatment, gas systems etc.
- Do the rotation between the central control room (CCR) position and outside operations to lead the operations team and monitor worksites.

- Surveyed water treatment plant to finish work from the former contractors and assessed the completed work to grantee its compliance with the standards, and specifications.

- Supervised the tests producers for the equipment, and operational units.
- Supervised and arranged the refurbishment of the project laboratory, which included the delivery of the equipment and chemical substances.
- Managed, and executed the training program dedicated for the water treatment plant commissioning, startup, operation, process control, and lab training for the end user (Baghdad Municipality) technical staff, and commented on their performance.

Rural Area Project:
- Performed work on water treatment projects associated with Iraq infrastructure reconstruction
Program (IIRP).
- Supervised the construction and the installation of water treatment, RO, compact units, water disinfection systems, pumps, pipe networks, storage tanks, water filters, and process control systems.
- Oversaw quality control during the construction phase with respect to QA/QC standards.
- Planned the training programs that dedicated for the operators of the new water treatment plants, also coordinated with governmental authorities regard these issues.
- Acted as one of the start-up, and commissioning teams by executing the start-up and the operation plans for the water treatment facilities.
- Supervised the construction of water deep wells in the Rural Area that served the water treatment plants.
- Managed the water sampling program by collecting the raw water samples for more than 60 water treatment sites in order to conduct the analysis of the heavy metals.

Operation and Maintenance Department:
- Acted as the commissioning engineer in the O & M department in order to prepare and to execute the startup plans for the water treatment & waste water projects.
- Determining, controlling and monitoring the implementation of the commission test plans.
