Fleet and Transport Management

•Monitor, Maintain and Control all daily truck movement activities in the substation.
•Coordinates the movements and activities of the Drivers and share detail with requisitioned detail of vehicle for Security clearance & De- confliction purpose.
•Create and send daily reports of all the daily truck movement activities internally to the Project Manager & Transport Manager and to the Partner (WFP).
•Performing the day to day activities ensuring an efficient running of the administration processes of the supply activities following the supply procedures according to DHL standards and protocols.
•Manage the transport of goods to/from WFP SANA’A warehouse.
•Track all commodities from point of origin/WFP WHs to final destination in the target Governments AND comparing waybills against distribution plan.
•Ensure that all vehicles are safe, Ensure that vehicles are daily, weekly and monthly checked according to the standard checklist.
•Warrant all vehicles (and trucks for distributions) are well managed; ensure movements are planned and coordinated.
•Archive, organize and maintain the program filing system.
•Select the proper vehicle according to volume and vehicle condition.
•Participate in meetings with WFP on discussions regarding commodities tracking and monitoring progress and other logistical issues and updates as well as any new formats or circulations introduced by WFP.

•Ensure Rental vehicle fleet, rental drivers comply with DHL vehicle and drivers policies.
•Follow up on the transportation of the goods exiting the warehouse to other destinations in order to ensure they reach their final destination.
•Follow up field team to get updated daily distribution reports of food distributed.

Warehouse/Stores management
•Responsible for the supervision, monitoring, and detailed recording of all warehouse and stock movement activities.
•Ensure proper storage and warehousing of assets and program stocks, including proper receiving and issuing of stocks.
•Confirm all cargo and shipping documents (GRN, RO, Waybills) in place before dispatching the goods for programmers.
•Analyzing data (on commodities, funds, IBDs, OBDs).
•Reviewing the distributions plan and allocated plan with OBDs
•Comparing DHL Reports with WFP Reports in regular bases.
•Providing the finance Department with all the documents for Food Movement at Warehouses (Repacking& Restacking) to issue the invoices.


•Transport and Customs: Performing the day to day procedures and administrative processes for the clearance and transportation of goods in a particular supply office.
•One of DHL Focal points with direct contact to operation logistics and commodity accounting unit.
• Support on managing DHL logistics database and reports.
•Ensure all the original shipping documents are well received in case of receiving new arrival shipments like, packing lists, way bills; bills of lading and the shipping invoices.
•Insuring that commodities quantity in the warehouses are matching the inventory with the documented reports.
•Following up complex issues (loss, damage, recovery) and report losses to finance.
• Coordinate between stations, WFP and head office in Sana'a.
•Failing and organize all related documents at logistic department.
•Monitoring the loading/offloading NFI, shelter &Nutrition activities at the warehouse.
•Follow up and review the stock report and warehouse weekly/monthly report.
•Prepare Stock Movement and Fleet reports, as well as a logistics reports.
