Established in 1972, Rotary Engineering is considered one of the largest EPIC, EPICC engineering companies specialized in refinery and oil and gas tankage, pipeline construction.
Role: Regional HR Manager (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Djibouti)
Running 3 Major projects with combined value of $700 m and multiple small projects

- Creating the HR Shared Services in the Middle East.
- Building the manpower burden table (Budget) for Middle East entities.
- Provide HR Analytics reports for various HR Activities
- Aligning Middle East Policies and procedures with local laws and regulations.
- Creating in-depth readily available automated centralized HR reporting systems allowing decision makers allowing for timely informed decision making.
- Centralize and optimize the HR activities including HRIS, recruitment, payroll, administration, compensation and benefits.
- Lead business units licensing activities, registration and renewals in ME Countries.
- Monitor HR development and financial KPIs across Middle East countries.
- Lead the monthly Middle East HR meetings.

Achievements:
- Created Automated Project Loading plan tracking system which allows to monitor all middle east projects recruitment with a single click.
- Successfully Created the HR Service Center to serve all entities with little to no disruption of HR Activities.
- Renegotiated insurance plans with vendors leading a reduction in premiums of over QAR200, 000.
- Pushed top management to adopt manpower supply option and negotiating the rates with supply companies saving over QAR1.9 million
- Achieved 98% accommodation utilization in Qatar using advanced integrated planning systems and negotiating with vendors taking into account the manpower mobilization during the world cup with little disruption saving over QAR1, 000, 000/- above target
- Rolled out SuccessFactors in for the first time for direct and indirect workers and achieved 90% completion rate.
- Created a state of the art project petty cash claim system which had become the go to record for company expense statistics.
- Achieved 0.05% government penalties (recorded penalties were due to rapid government regulation changes and not for lack of tracking)
- My team achieved 98% manpower timely manpower mobilization for all positions at the 0.5% of the grade structure min point.
