•• Considering and advising on matters specified within the Statement of commitments and compliance with environmental matters
• Certifying activities defined by Saudi Aramco as having minor environmental and/or community impacts when warranted
• Recording and providing a written report to Saudi Aramco PMT on non-conformances with the CEMP and requirements of CHEAC to undertake mitigation measures to avoid or minimize any adverse impacts on the environment, including reporting required changes to the CEMP
• Directing CHEAC’s construction management to stop work immediately where considered necessary, if in the view of the EM an unacceptable impact on the environment is likely to occur, or require other reasonable steps to be taken to avoid or minimize any adverse impacts
• Reviewing corrective and preventative actions to ensure the implementation of recommendations made from the audits and site inspections
• Reviewing and updating the CEMP
• Certifying that minor revisions to the CEMP are consistent with the approved CEMP
• Immediately Reporting Saudi Aramco’s site engineer of any incidents relevant to the Project Statement of Commitments resulting from construction that is not dealt with expediently or adequately by CHEAC
• Conducting environmental awareness training for key issues throughout the Project through the use of targeted presentations at daily job pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and the use of targeted literature
• Monitoring the quality of water discharges from the site and maintain records of water quality monitoring results to be submitted to the P.M.E. Representative
• Responsible for implementing dust mitigation measures for all activities and areas
• Responsible for performing daily marine water sampling such as turbidity using turbidity meter
• Responsible for weakly marine water sampling using hand held meters( such as turbidity, PH, Salinity, Electrical Conductivity, TSS & TDS meters )
• Collecting & sending water for monthly sampling from Dredgers discharge points to Exova Laboratory
• Performing daily offshore inspections on Dredgers, Salvage Barges etc. to check & rectify environmental related issues
• Daily patrolling offshore specifically around dredgers, Salvage barges, boats & floating cranes to find out oil leaks
• Performing weekly offshore cleaning nears dredgers, floating pipes, salvage barge, shoreline etc.
• In-charge of offshore spill response clean up team

• • Coordinating with the audits and inspection material to ensure conformity with the plan.
• Coordinate and verify the work progress as per the relevant specifications and company's environmental systems.
• Assist in designing, preparing, implementing and maintaining the environmental project plan.
• Reduce the impact on local environment by pollution control, implementing plans for controlling wastes, conservation of flora and fauna, removal of hazardous substances and hydrocarbons, management of water in accordance to the legislated and contractual requirements.
• Make certain that documents and records are filed as per the contract filing system.
• Overview and coordinate environmental operations in order to ensure permit renewals and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect the various sites for environmental compliances.
• Provide training and assistance to the team members.
• Determine the root cause of environment issues and plan for appropriate actions to overcome them.
• Find out potential environmental risks and design for mitigation plan.
• Maintain clear and complete documentations for reference purpose during environmental operations.
• Team up with the management to upgrade activities and schedule periodic maintenance.
• Keep updated documents which enclose regulations and environmental policies
• Determine areas of improvement to lessen environmental wastes and damages.
• Develop contamination control programs to reduce hazards and accidents.

• Responsible for collecting information’s regarding the Vessels Waste oils & contacting Saudi Aramco approved waste hauler GEMS for removal & disposal of waste oil
• Managing & developing clients and internal project teams
• Evaluate and improve environmental program and conduct environment training (Such as Environmental Awareness, SPCC, Heat Stress, MSDS, Hazardous Material Handling etc.) for company employees and sub-contractors
• Participation in environmental incident investigation (such as Spillage incidents, water contamination etc.) and make recommendation to ensure that appropriate lesson are practices changed to prevent reoccurrence
• Participate in environmental studies and monitor the implementation of recommendations
• Attend and support Environment meeting inside and outside the company to increase Environment awareness and ensure compliance to requirements
• Coordinate and participate in monthly Environment audit within company
• Understand the Maaden, Royal Commission and OSHA basic requirements and assist in reviewing plant modifications
• Develop, implement and update Environment procedures to minimize risks and meet statutory requirements and understand the risk management system.
• Ensuring Environmental activities, Environmental related permits in conjunction with Samsung Project Manager
• Coordinate with Alcoa/Maaden/Flour Environmental Manager and adherence to his instructions as and when required
• Providing the Alcoa/Maaden/Flour Environmental Manager with monthly (Greenhouse Gas Log) and weekly (Hazardous Material Inventory, Hazardous Waste Generation Ledger, Inert Stock Pile Log, Spill Kid Inventory, Visual Inspection Log etc.) reports, as required by the client

• Conducts required environmental observations, tests, and analysis.
• Participates in cleanup and consolidation of materials as needed and trained for.
• Evaluates test results and makes recommendations for maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Properly label and package or palletize hazardous or nonhazardous, regulated and non-regulated materials for storage, shipment or disposal.
• Receive, sign for and possibly transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Inspect hazardous waste/materials storage areas daily.
• Collect, identify, and categorize hazardous and nonhazardous materials for disposal or recycle.
• Identify and review applicable regulations and apply them as necessary.
• Perform as required all storm water testing at required testing intervals and submit reports accordingly.
