Tasks & Duties
I work as a supervisor in the Qibla residential complex, which includes 72
residential buildings with all necessary accessories and services, which is
located in the center of Basra city .
accessories include, for example, the construction of two kindergartens,
two schools, a health center and a shopping center. Services include water
and sewage networks, paving roads, electricity and communication
networks, as well as the allocation of green spaces.
my responsible include :
- supervising for the job which perform by sub contractor company .
- executed the work according to the plan & qualification .
- supervising for the pillars hammering of building foundation in the site.
my achievement :
- completed eight building with all accessories and services .
- construction of two schools with a health center .
- supervising the implementation of service roads.

Saipem company was executed the project of Zubair Gathering system located in West AL-Qurna .
the project consists of two main pipeline ( Trunk line ) measuring 16 inch.. the first line was wet and the other line was dry . a smaller pipe of diameters 12 and 14 inch is branching out from Trunk lines, this pipe called (ZU) connecting trunk line with several new implementation manifolds .the project was connect with three existing treatment plants, DS6, DS7 & DS8..

my duties are as follows : -
- follow-up and executed the Thrust boring work by using the Thrust boring machine which work to pass the main oil pipeline (Trunk line) under the roads that intersected with the project by using the sacrificial pipe and completed all the testing that required before pushing the pipe. the testing include, ( X-Rays test, coating test, Hardness test & holiday test ) .
- implementation and supervisor of the concrete foundations for new Manifolds which located near each the treatment plant ( DS6, DS7 & DS8)
- implementation and supervisor of two type of sleepers ( cast in situ and pre- cast ) with different dimensions & volumes .
- implementation and supervision on the works of many Box culverts to passing the oil pipeline under the new roads .

my achievement include :
- I executed three Thrust boring work & passed the main oil pipeline ( Trunk line ) .
- participate in the implementation of three foundations for new Manifolds near the treatment plant ( DS6, DS7 & DS8) .
- I executed (38) sleepers with different dimension .

the company was executed the project for BGC / Shell Iraq BV to upgrade Basra Gas company (BGC) Buildings .

my duties are summarized as follows :
- Supervised the construction of new buildings at job site.
- Supervised on the upgrading damaged buildings and units.
- Prepared BOQ and work orders for the projects.
- Controlled resources of the project .

my achievement include :
- completed the new building according to the plan .
- completed all the work for the upgrading damaged buildings at the lowest cost

Tasks & Duties :
the company was performed the work of Al Ahrar Residential project in Basra city which, including construction 1000 (thousand) houses with all accessories and services .

my responsible include :
- apply the engineering specifications which, required by drawings of the
project .
- following all the engineering test for concrete casting work .
- testing all the materials which processed to the project .
my achievement include :
- Preventing engineering errors in the project
- Delivery the work according to the specified time

the company's mission was implemented the Benzene Improvement project in Basra Refinery. the duty of Saad company was expanded the Basra Refinery and the establishment the unit of Benzene Improvement to produce improved gasoline.

my responsibilities include :
- apply of engineering specifications, which include inspection of construction materials .
- follow-up the quality of work in the project .
- Implementation of the concrete foundations for the new units of the refinery.
my achievement :
- take care to implement the project on time.
- implementation of the project according to the engineering specifications.

the company executed the project of sewer network in AL-Daer area in the north of Basra . the project includes the extension of the underground sewage pipes with its accessories, in addition to the construction of a pumping station to push sewage to the treatment plants .

my responsibilities include :
- implementation of the sewerage network with manhole .
- Implementation of the project pumping station.
- implementation of pavement and paving roads with decorative bricks .

my achievement :-
- Implementation of the project with the highest engineering specifications within the specified time
- Completed the project and delivery to the Client, despite the existence of many obstacles .

the company has set up many different projects in the city of Basra, such as the establishment of a large number of residential houses and the implementation of two schools in addition to the establishment of eyes hospital in the center of the Basra city.

my responsibility :
- supervises & perform of few houses & schools .
- supervise & construction of eyes hospital .
achievement include :
- I did many works for private sector such as designing schools and housing using AutoCAD software .

the company was executed the project of Basra water which, extended from Nassiriyah to Basra to transfer the sweet water to Basra Governorate, the length of this canal was approximately 200 km. the project include many types of construction concrete work such as, the pumping station, bridges and siphon of rail train .

my duties include :
- supervise for the earth work which, contain a large quantities of excavation in the site .
- executed the concrete Siphon under the rail .
- cover the channel with concrete to prevent leakage of water.

my achievement :
- implemented & completed the excavation work with high quality despite the difficulties of groundwater.
- completed the work in the siphon train project on time and with high
engineering specifications.

the work include reconstructing the Iron train bridge after it was destroyed as a result of the gulf war . the bridge was constructed on the Basra river.

my responsibility :
- hammering the pipe pillar at depth (15 m ) down the bottom of the river.
- casting the concrete cap on the head of this pipe and then, we connected the steel structure of bridge on the cap.

my achievement :-
- the most important achievement for me was getting enough experience in bridges construction .
- I have contributed to the service of Basra people by restoring the train
service for them.

the company mission was rehabilitation the Spiral pipe plant in Umm Qasr which include concrete foundations to install new machines, as well as, constructed the stores and another services of the plant .
my duties :
- constructed the concrete foundations for new machines in Plant .
- constructed a new headquarters of administration .
my achievement :
- Participate in the reconstruction of the spiral pipe factory in Umm Qasr, which contributes to support the national economy.

the project was in the Iron and steel plant in Khor Al-Zubair as it was included different civil engineering works like earth works, service streets, and big concrete foundations to stand the steel structure of the factory
as well as, the rest house for the project staff .

my responsibility include:
- completed excavation work to reach the required level in the site to implement the foundations which was used to install the steel structure
of plant.
- implementation of different volumes of concrete foundations in the site.
- worked a number of service roads which was a necessary for the project implementation.

my achievement:-
- the transition from the academic position in the university to the acquisition of practical experience.
- completed the concrete foundations despite the difficulties of groundwater.
