Prepare import documents to guarantee the proper movement of goods to insure timely and correct payments can be applied. prepared, verified and sent appropriate commercial invoices.
Ensure the timely and economical movement of material both domestically and internationally.
Ensure all the paperwork and documentation of imports and exports is in line with current regulations and guidelines
Review carrier/freight forwarder invoices to ensure correct charges are applied
Conduct monthly inventory reviews, placing orders accordingly to ensure product availability.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists colleagues workers in solving work problems
Troubleshoot all issues that arise with import and export of materials.
Maintain all vital records (shipping documents, invoices, etc).
Producing bills of lading and update the shipments status information.
Verification of documents and preparation of payment to forwarder & clearing agent.
Negotiate discount rates with carries.
Supervised & monitoring all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Co-ordinate the shipments from China, Malaysia and India.
Tracks, files, and maintains all packing slips and shipping records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
