Report to Logistics officer, I was responsible to support control, manages recieving uniforms and stationaries are done at the most effective and fit for its purpose. Below specific duties but not limited:
•Receives requisitions from user departments for goods and services and confirms correct specifications and deliveries as per requested from main store. .
•Raises internal requisition order.
•Keeps and manages timely filling of documents in the procurement department.
•Develops and manages vehicles movements log for proper and efficient uses.
•Requests for new staff accommodations to the housing department.
•Coordinates with training department and catering to ensure all the students avail meals on timely.
Report to supply chain manager, I was responsible to support, execute, supervise and manage materials flow through effective and efficient delivery at the right time, from the right place, right price and in the right condition to avail optimal utilization of the available resource, specific duties include but not limited:
•Planned and supervises import and export shipments.
•Negotiates for freights with shipping lines.
•Ensures proper handling of documents during procedures to void any supply delay and demurrages.
•Organizes shipments with branches offices, suppliers and customers.
•Tracking of shipments and updating warehouse coordinator on timely basis so to as avoid any extra charges..
•Warehouse management skills resulting in accurate inventory level.
•Administered a system in tracking of all Madar owned transportation fleet in terms of consumption and efficiency along with sorting out systems for all materials received.
Achievement
•Instrumental in synchronizing with the shipping line and clearing agents to gather delivery order, thus negotiating for extension of free days to achieve zero demurrage.
•I resolved various issues pertaining to cargo upon arrival at Doha port and the warehouse and accordingly achieve QAR 145 000 claims for all shipments received with discrepancies with insurance/supplier and shipping line.
