 Support health activities for the Syrian operation in Mafraq governorate;

- Support UNHCR health response for the Syrian refugees.
- Liaise closely with senior colleagues and partners on technical issues.
- Coordinate closely with health authorities and other stakeholders for effective implementation of planned activities.
- Provide guidance concerning public health matters including the emergency preparedness strategy and the production of contingency and response plans.
- Plan, develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on all public health activities.
- Collect and manage health related information and use this as a basis to assist Ministry of Health and health actors to identify public health concerns and threats and identify capacity gaps.
- Coordinate with key health partners in order to provide quality and accessible health care to UNHCR’s persons of concern.
- Facilitate health coordination and formulate joint public health actions with Ministry of Health/health partners and facilitate implementation of interventions of UNHCR and health partners.
- Facilitate collaboration with partners and stakeholders and build partnerships for resource mobilization for implementation of public health intervention in the target areas.
- Support the Health Information System including review the weekly reports for errors, provide feedback to all partners, and coordinate with the Ministry of Health on outbreak alerts.
- Facilitate the preparation of the situation reports (with adequate frequency) and assist the health sector in the dissemination of public health information and concerns.
- Monitor technical and financial aspects of the UNHCR funded health partners.
- Ensure that health related standard operating procedures and policies are followed.
- Work to integrate cross cutting issues: sexual and gender-based violence, psychosocial, disability, Reproductive health, Nutrition into UNHCR Health activities.

 Supervise the overall smooth functioning of MdM medical activities in the primary health care centres.
 Inform on regular basis challenges, needs seen in field and collaborate with the field coordinator on effective actions to solve related matters.
 Attend relevant coordination meetings on behalf of MdM in field of work and liaise with the Directorate of Health in Ramtha.
 Communicate and negotiate with local authorities as needed.
 Lead regular clinic meetings (weekly as a minimum) to discuss ongoing issues and update when necessary staff.
 Identify improvements in the proper overall functioning of the clinic.
 Monitoring project activities and outputs against project log frames, time frames and budgets.
 Supervise all staff at clinic level are performing their duties, through the staff rooster planned in combination with medical department
 Conduct yearly evaluations of clinic staff and participate to the recruitment of new clinic staff.
 Participate to any necessary disciplinary action with clinic staff ( participate to interviews)
 Supervise data collection of daily, weekly and monthly forms in clinic and provide monthly activity reports to coordination team.

 Conduct interviews and introduce refugees to UNHCR missions and laws.
 Evaluate the needs for each case of asylum seekers and put specific recommendations.
 Refer certain cases to specialised units as needed. (Legal, community services, protection, etc).

 Maintain anesthesia department needs of drugs, medications, and Consumables.
 Monitoring quality assurance according to Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.
 Responsible for distributing anesthesia technicians in a daily manner over the operation rooms.
 Preparing and planning night shifts schedule for employees.
 Responsible for training medical students, and new employees on dealing with operation theaters environment, anesthesia devices, equipments, instruments, and drugs.
 Distributing trainees over operation theaters according to preset plan
