 Tracks local market trends re: key competitors and plans strategically to create growth, improve financial performance and again competitive advantages. (weekly and daily reports on the movement of the nearest competition )

• Monitor dept(s) sales drive programs in departments. Monitor department performance to budgets on revenue and services KRA such as sales, extended warranty, credit, a discontinued product etc. Use B.O reporting to analyse, and identify and prioritize negative individual/ dept trends. Timely implementation of corrective actions through individual training, coaching and direction. Partner with merchandise where required on merchandising new products, discount ensure correct pricing on product etc.
• Associate training and development- implement company training programs (SCL) and follow up on associate completion as required; conduct daily shift meeting and provide on duties and responsibilities; coach and direct associates an selling techniques and professional partner programs. Provide associates with ongoing training opportunities to improve product knowledge.
• Labour management and productivity - ensure dept staffing levels meet budget requirement; create dept schedules to maximize productivity recognize and celebrating individual identifying and addressing individual performance problems on timely basis.
• Customers’ experience- monitors and analyse customer satisfaction surveys and report related to dept/s for opportunities. Train and direct associates in customer service and company standards. Develop individual improvement plans. Recognize and reinforce good associate behaviours. Consult S/Rs managers on timely resolution of any dept customer issues.
