• Assist in developing and implementing systems for internal control that would ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions in collaboration with Project/Program Managers and Team Leaders.
• Supervising other junior supply chain staff
• Providing training and capacity building for the newer projects coordinators and facilitators regarding the procurement process according to the SOPs and donors' requirements
• Lead meetings on procurement planning, prepare and update tracking tools
Conduct comprehensive field studies to ensure overall targets and project goals are met
• Assist in preparing the annual budget and provide recommendations to minimize projects & operational over-budget
• Responsible for preparing the master procurement plan in coordination with projects/programs managers
• Monitor and analyze contract performance against agreed benchmarks through agreed reporting mechanisms and advise on potential issues and recommend remedial actions
• Coordinate the signing of agreements & contracts between JRF and suppliers
• Specialized in the tendering process
• Prepare detailed comparison sheets and the committee report for tenders & bids

• Act as a focal point for vendors regarding all matters related to procurement, contracting, and vendor relations
• Match supply and demand based on strategy and past reports
• Initiate, coordinate, and facilitate procurement and tendering processes in accordance with organization policies
• Assist in issuing tenders and advertising in the public newspaper and in the official website
• Evaluate quotations and prepare summaries, analyses, and recommendations of the best offer considering the price, supplier reputation, capabilities, and past performance
• Negotiate with suppliers for optimum rates to procure quality commodities and services
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with vendors for quick and proper delivery of commodities and/or services
• Liaising between project team members and commodity/service providers to guarantee a smooth workflow
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance through a review of work progress and financial reports
• Craft Contracts, Purchase Orders (POs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Provide technical support to ensure proper data collection and accurate reporting
• Prepare receiving forms, custody forms, and payment release forms
• One of the implementation committee members for the new ERP system “Oracle”
• Implementing new methodologies in tendering process (issuing, evaluation & Awarding).

• Assists in the procurement process of all new requests for supplies for JRF.
• Focus on FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods); food raw material and restaurant supplies.

Achievements:
• Establishing new warehouses and put a plan for goods transportation.
• Starting a new policy for F&B purchasing.
• Reduce the production costs in the main kitchen from 50% to 30%.
• Moving the main kitchen to a better location and purchasing a new equipment and materials.
• Launching the frozen production line.
• Coordinating in preparation and opening of Daimeh Eatery as a new project of JRF.
