BASIC FUNCTION:
The Field Service Manager is responsible for managing all field related matters, and making sure that
company procedures and standards are being implemented, also, the FSM is the main point of
communication between the office, the workshop, and the field.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow all HSE, and Service Quality (SQ) procedures.
2. To be in contact with the client about the upcoming jobs to ensure timely & safe transportation of
tools and personnel on location to avoid emergency situation.
3. Follow up with Field Engineers, about the upcoming and running jobs.
4. Provide face-to face, telephone and email support to client.
5. Gather requirements from clients related to potential services & projects.
6. Have a part in marketing the company's new tools and technologies.
7. Must be comfortable with handling multiple projects and assignments with strict deadlines.
8. Maintain current knowledge of company's products and services.
9. Travel as needed to customer sites and regional offices.
10. Check field engineer timesheet and insure they are handed in to Finance in a timely manner.
11. Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within customer base (Drilling engineers,
Rig Foreman, drilling supervisor, & superintendent).
12. Relate field/client issues and concerns to client and management to ensure effective
communication and resolution of problems.
13. Perform assigned staff jobs and other work related to the position of MWD Coordinator as required
(i.e. Pre and post job safety meeting, manage FE rotations, manages paperwork and job folders,
Prepare Rig watching List, & Prepare Job Mobilization Planner.
14. To ensure all jobs are performed according to the company's HSE standards.
15. Provide full technical support and be a mentor for field engineers, and insures troubleshooting is
being done in a timely manner.
16. Keep close communication with workshop team and prepare tool orders, and other job related
reports.
17. Evaluate FEs according to their performance.
18. Coordinate with HR for the FE carrier Training & development plan.
19. Quality check for all relevant operational documents, with the support of Technical team (i.e.
Survey reports, NCR for SQ, HSE & Field).
20. Lead the Failure analysis from Field side & insures the availability of all relevant information &
documentation required for analysis.

5. Prepare inspection reports of rejected items-Operator assessment on Heavy

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow all HSE, and Service Quality (SQ) procedures.
2. Develops and maintains a positive relationship with the clients to ensure repeat business
3. Has required proficiency for the services relevant to the job and must be certified competent as
Lead Engineer as per the KASAB standards.
4. Fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.
5. Ensure all client deliverable are delivered to the customers on time and meet client and KASAB
standards all the time.
6. Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site.
7. Maintains good communication with the Client's well site representative and rig crew and TeleDrift
FSM.
8. Actively participates in Knowledge sharing
9. Ensures all TeleDrift reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and on a timely manner
10. Ensures final end of well deliverable are quality controlled and delivered to the clients on time, all
the time.
11. Provides quality answers and solutions to the customer's questions, requests, or problems.
12. In case of failure, prepare all required documents.
13. Update FSM twice daily.
14. Assure that the job folder is completed after each job.
15. Strictly follow the given pre-job before each rig.
16. Follow all Kasab field operating procedures.
17. Follow all QHSE policies and procedures to insure his own safety and the safety of those around
him.
18. Quality check for all relevant operational documents, with the support of Technical team (i.e.
Survey reports, NCR for SQ, HSE, and field
