Project Background
Iraq Governance and Performance Accountability (IGPA), a USAID project implemented by DAI in Iraq, aiming to advance effective, accountable, and transparent governance in Iraq, in cooperation with the Government of Iraq to better respond to citizen needs by supporting inclusive governance and public sector transparency, accountability, and economy.
Report on the daily situation in Iraq including Security, Political Development, political parties activities, major events, political and economic institutions, economic data, federal or provincial legislation or regulations, etc.; coordinates mission communications and public affairs.
Provide analysis and advice on domestic developments related to political and socio-economic issues.
Draft and prepare diplomatic notes and other official correspondence.
Organize visits of Official Canadian Delegation to Iraq.
Set up and organize HE's meetings and appointments with local and foreign delegations and important personalities.
Provide complete direct translation during meetings and conversations.
Follow up HE's official letters and orders to local diplomatic bodies.
