RRoles and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment’s clinically as well as technically.
• Handling technical & operational activities of installing biomedical equipment’s.
• Provide training to new nursing staff on medical equipment’s installed in clinic.
• Maintain the documentation for biomedical equipment’s.
• Updating the inventory of all types of medical equipment’s installed in the Clinic/ hospital.
• Coordination with service personnel of various medical equipment companies.
• Follow up the Preventive maintenance schedule and calibration schedule for medical.
• To follow up with the vendors for any breakdown under annual maintenance contract equipment’s.
• Update the aging list on daily basis for medical equipment’s.
• Meet with in charges of critical care departments on daily basis.
• Responsible & accountable for overall Operation of Biomedical Engineering Department.
• Responsible for Procurement and installation of over 400 Biomedical Equipment’s.
• Design Database for Medical Equipment Management in Access 2017.
• Perform and coordinate repairs and scheduled maintenance on contracted medical equipment
• Log reports and follow service manuals for PM's and repairs
• Achieved and exceeded individual/team goals for work orders resulting in excellent ratings
• Perform quality assurance for the Facility Maintenance Team, checking the integrity of medical / non-medical equipment, power outlets, and backup generators
• Responding to patients requests and trouble-shooting equipment
• Troubleshot, repaired, performed preventative maintenance procedures, purchased, made recommendations for purchases, and kept records for hospitals inventory of medical equipment
• Influenced administration to invest in new medical equipment testing/calibration devices
• Member of Quality task
