Nature of JOB: Designed the EDW - BI (Enterprise Data Warehouse - Business Intelligence) architecture as One-stop shop for the Integrated Business Data and to deliver its BI services for all of the business proponents, according to their roles and responsibility. The EDW-BI will keep the integrated historical data from all various data sources into a centralized Enterprise Data Warehouse with subject and business oriented hierarchy. This project provides cross functional, complex and standard reports, Dashboards with the corresponding KPIs of the business proponents.
This solution reduces cost, report preparation time, and mainly to avoid manual errors. Moreover this solution playing a vital role on decision making for the Executive management, as well as forecasting the business further. The main KPIs are
1. GRM-Gross Refinery Margin
2. Liquid Yield Efficiency
3. Oil Loss and Blending efficiency
4. HSE - Incident measurement.
5. Solomon bench Mark measurements, Etc.

SAP Modules: HCM, FI, CO, TR, MM, WM, PM, QM, EHS, BW & IS-OIL
IRIS (Integrated Refinery Information Systems): Haverly /CAMS, Aspen (PIMS, ORION), LabWare LIMS, Belsim Vali (REA, RMB), Honeywell (OI, OM, OL, MM), OSI PI DAHS.
Engineering Systems & Flat files: Meridium, Intergraph, Pilog, Platts, Argus and Success Factor.
EIM tool : Hana SDI, Hana SDA and MS SSIS
Database : Hana 2.0 and SQL Server 2014
Data Model : SAP Hana Data Model, SAP BW/4Hana and SSAS.
Design Tools : SAP BOBJ Lumira ( Design Studio & Discovery), SSRS & SharePoint.

Nature of JOB: Worked at Vestas Technology Research & Development - Chennai India as TECH LEAD ENGINEER in EDW-BI team, and was Handling Multi Tera Bytes of Data from all over the world. The system is still providing the best DataWarehouse - BI solution to our customers, which is developed to compare, monitor and predict, each Power Plant parks.
Created universes (Data Marts), users, views, daily database updating by retrieving the data (ETL - BO DI, SSIS) from various data sources as per the requirement of day to day requirement. Customizing new reports using SAP Business Objects Web I & Desk I, MS-SSRS functionalities like queries, slice and dice, drill down, cross tab, master detail reports, formulas, etc.
Standardizing the reports by minimizing the manual intervention with the help of stores procedures & Packages. Publishing new reports to the users from the central data warehouse. Maintenance of Database -- adding data files, archiving, backup & recovery.
Defined and document ETL process flow and scheduling capabilities.
Scrum Master of the team, handled scrum team around the globe.( India, Denmark, & Philippines)
Developed Import/Export scripts and Autoloader scripts.
Developed Methodology to use Global Temporary tables.
Developed Logic to change the table structure from Type 2 to Type 3 dimensions on the fly using in-line views to support dynamic business requirements
