Responsibilities
o Teaching subjects related to Computer Science and Information Technology such as Cryptography,
Network Security, Security Protocols, Cybersecurity, The Design of Cryptographic Algorithm, Mobile Computing, Computer Networks, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Structures & Algorithms, Programming Languages (Java, Python, SQL, ASP.net and C++).
o Serve as supervisor for undergraduate students
o Managing research projects in the areas of Network Security as well as Internet of Things applications.
o Research fields interests: Internet of Things Applications, Applied Cryptography, CyberSecurity, Security in Wireless Sensor Networks, and Data Science using Python programming language (Data Integration, Data Wrangling, and Data Visualization).
Responsibilities
o Oversee IT operations and supervise systems
o Leads team of IT staff
o Administration of servers at Data Center
o Communicates within IT team and across departments as needed
o Develop strategy as it relates to the University's IT infrastructure (computer and information
systems, security, communication systems) and evaluate them according to established goals
o Analyze the academic requirements of Deanship of Academic Affairs and Faculties to determine their technology needs
o Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set
by upper management as well as Faculties
o Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
o Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
o Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper
management
o Assesses need for new equipment and software.
o Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget
o Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff
