Sukuk Advisory on Infrastructure Project: Working on South East Asian public infrastructure project, port expansion, worth $1.5bn Sukuk. Part of the team to structure the Sukuk to reduce risk and achieve investment-grade quality. Additionally, performing financial due diligence, prepare financial models, conduct research, write reports, and make a presentation to relevant parties.
Debt Advisory on Hospitality Project: Carried out work on a $200mn project financing transaction for the construction of a hotel in UAE. Devised techniques for the improvement of credit quality, prepared feasibility, financial projections, marketing reports, and made the presentation to different underwriters.
Debt Advisory on Studio Project: Worked on a €500mn bond issuance deal for the construction of the movie studio in Italy. Carried out industry analysis, developed financial model prepared marketing material for the relevant stakeholders, and advised on credit enhancement techniques.
Debt Advisory on Oil Project: Performed due diligence, prepared financial forecasts, and presentation material for US-based oil exploration firm which intended to raise $300mn through the issuance of the bond. Moreover, advised on the structuring of the transaction to reduce the risk, and resultantly improve the credit quality.
Debt Advisory on Hospitality Project: Worked on securitization deal worth of $600mn for both the acquisition and construction of hotels in the UK. Worked closely with the borrower for the selection of suitable acquisition property, prepared financial feasibility, and advised on bond structuring techniques to attract lenders.
Acquisition advisory on Insurance Firm: Prepared financial model of an insurance company for UK based clients with an aim to provide advice about the acquisition of the entity.
Overall, at SDI Financial Services SA, I am working on different aspects of syndication & debt capital transactions including structuring financial instruments, interacting regularly with transaction parties including investment banks, rating agencies, legal teams, and insurance firms.
