Responsibilities/Tasks: • Manage the Interior Design Department of Dar global units in the Middle East, Mena region, and UK and Indian region. • Report to Regional Directors to validate projects and proposals for Interior works. • Coordination with stakeholders and in-house trades. • Stabilize and upgrade the design terminology and Proposals of new ventures, • Recruitment and Resources management for global and in-house projects. • Design proposal /Methodology/DSR Reviews/Manuals and FFE. • Training & Development/ Specialty programs and managing graphic rendering team. • Visit Dar global units to enhance and ensure teamwork strategies.
Design coordination, Review Tender drawings, IFC, Design submittal, Material submittal, Review Prequalification
submittal and support constructional services,
• Project involved working on the expansion of Doha international airport as responsible for package North Node
Hotel and Lounges (Package 0016), Remote Transfer Baggage Facility Building (0014) & (Central Concourse
Building (0013)
• Involve and coordinate for Hotel interior fit out and bespoke FF&E scope of works, Value Engineering. Review
FF&E technical specification, Data sheet and comprehensive tender documents and Presentations
• Manage work flow design philosophies and current trends including workplace design, space planning,
documentation, furniture specification general materials and finishes,
• Anticipating the technical implication of design decision facilitating firm and project goals of excellence in design
delivery and sustainability,
• Coordinating project documentation, execution, construction plans and details ensuring quality control,
• Coordinating Structural engineering/ MEP systems relevant to the projects,
• Review technical shop drawings, material samples for conformance with design conducts and documenting filed
observation and monitor progress of construction,
• Provide construction administration duties (RFI, CVI, MIR, IR, change orders etc.)
• Prepare reports and specification, review completed reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations.
• Ensure task completion according to the company standards guidelines and project delivery manual,
• Create and communicated clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements for project team,
• Manage client expectation and team communication and coordination
Manage & Review Architectural & Interior Designs establish design package deliverables.
• Review& approve Architectural, Interior shop drawings and support procurement & commercial team in order
to find suitable materials for FF&E as required for the project and its time frame.
• Coordinating with subcontractors for MEP services, Façade works (GRC, Curtain wall, ACP
cladding/canopy/Ceiling/Lux along ceiling/roofing glass & SS balustrade) & Interior Fit outs.
• Coordinating with Consultants for Structural, Landscape, Pool specialist with workshops & site meet
• Prepare& Review RFI, CVI, MIR, Material submittal related to constructional support services,
• Review and claim approvals on FF &E related materials and finalize right vendors and expertise for lead items.
• Prepare mood boards for interiors finishes (Hotel, Spa, Recreation, Retail, Corporate and Educational projects)
• Manage design & site team to ensure the execution at site and design packages deliverables.
• Attend workshops, Commercial Meetings, and Site, progress meetings with client consultant’s and contractors
Ownership of Design management for new ventures & interacting with consultants.
• Review and claim approvals on FF & E related materials and finalize the right vendors and expertise for lead items.
• Manage design team, prepare schematics drawings and prepare mood boards for Interiors finishes
• Value engineering for interior fit outs, modify designs and specification as required.
• Accomplish and review target designing and detailing of the architectural drawings
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant’s and Project Managers
Designing Retail outlets with size of 5, 000-25, 000 Sqft,
• Approve shop front for entire oasis mall retail units ensuring mall guidelines,
• Create Branding for new concepts, Co-ordinate for visual merchandizing,
• Manage & authorize Technical specification, FFE, OSE as per project requirements,
• Design & establish Creative Professional Photography studio to launch ecommerce division.
• Establish new signage concepts for various sector, Co-ordinate with copywriter, logistic supply
• Designing Corporate office, Hospitality & Retail Store plans of sizes varying from 28, 000- 2 Lac Sqft,
• Liaising with Retail Operations Team, Vendors and Consultants
Design development & documentation for overseas project for Project was Corporate and Residential tower in
Dubai, Project which spreads 7lac Sqft with wide range of landscape and Interior fit out. Design development &
Coordination with MEP consultants were carried out in detail to accomplish the targets
• Identify consultants, vendors and FF &E authorization.
• Project management by ensuring deliverables on time
Design residential (Apartment & Villa’s) & Commercial projects,
• Design coordination for International Airport at Hyderabad,
• Prepare schematic drawings and Inspect site team.
• Interact with Clients, Project Consultants and Project Engineers.
• FF & E with material finalization and interior fit out packages
