Skills: Quality Management
Reporting to the General Manager/ Managing Director, accountable for the policy and implementation issues assessment and improvement of Quality Management System and its performance, corrective and preventive actions, training and effectiveness of trainings/ QC systems. Responsible for a team of 3 QC engineers directly. The projects accountable include external and landscaping works of Zuleikha Hospital Dubai, Port View Apartments for Al Wasl in Mina Road and Jumeirah 1, Acacia 1 apartments for Emaar, Belgravia apartments 2nd phase in Jumeira Village Circle, Apartments for M/S Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Est, in Al Qouz 1, Plot D and Plot E B+G+2 plots Development in Jumeira by Al Wasl Asset Management LLC, preparation and achieving ISO 9001-2015; ISO 14001:2015 and ISO45001:2018 certification for SIa Landscaping LLC
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Review the documentation processes for Quality assurance of landscaping company
• Review of QC plans, Inspection Test Plan, Risk assessment, Aspect impact assessment, Method Statements
• Organize, oversee and plan jobs from bid process to project completion
• Process Submittals, RFP’s, Change Orders
• Subcontractor and Vendor assessment, bidding and procurement
• Manage the materials procurement process
• Project Scheduling - create, update and maintain
• Provide day to day leadership and management of Laborers and Sub-Contractors
• Oversee design requirements and make sure expectations are being met
• Liaison between field and General Manager
• Make or enforce required decisions to assure that major Quality / Commercial objectives are met
• Monitor costs and perform projections
• Conduct regular progress meetings with General Manager
• Conduct Pre-construction and coordination meetings
Management Representative to the group of companies with annual turnover more than AED 3 billion, responsible for the Quality and HSE regime of the group of companies. Achieved ISO 9001:2008 compliance to the improved Quality Management System of the group and implemented new health safety and environment procedures complying with the international standards ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. Responsible for effectively conducting and reporting the system audits internal and third party. Monthly review of results and communicating any necessary cautioning or controls. Providing the day to day solutions required for quality control and HSE plan implementation in projects and production floors, conducting/reporting weekly monthly inspections in job sites and floors.
Responsible to the Top Management for Quality a Management reporting, continual improvement of these, certifications, internal and external audits, management reviews etc. Assisting the project management in preparation, approval, implementing and review of Project Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Establish procedures for Quality Assurance, Safety, Health and environment on-project activities, implement, assess and monitor for continual improvement with in processes. Assessment of suppliers, review of supplier pre-qualification, Approval of Project Quality Plans, ITPs etc.• Assist the project teams in the Interaction with client/consultant on project QC issues, participate in Project Management, Management reviews.
• Conduct Internal audit and Second Party audits on subcontractors, suppliers including detailers and report. Organize Management Reviews to establish continual improvement. Assisting in major business accounting audits for technical and QMS supports.
• Establish procedures for Quality Assurance, Safety, Health and environment on project activities, implement, assess and monitor for continual improvement with in processes. • Assessment of suppliers, review of supplier pre-qualification, Preparation and approval of Project Quality Plans, ITPs etc.• Assist the project teams in the Interaction with client/consultant on project QC issues, participate in Project Management, Risk Management and in-house Management reviews.
• Conduct Internal audit and Second Party audits on subcontractors, suppliers including detailers and report.
Design and Detailing the system formwork requirements in accordance with the site requirements. Inspection and verification with the clients engineering team
All informative communication of methods and technical procedures to use tailor engineered formwork system products of DOKA. identifying the weak links in site erection of form panels. assisting the clients teams in assembling of panels, identifying tranfering storing and installing in positions etc logistical assistance like pre delivery inspection and post delivery inspection in case of rental returns, familiarizing the available solutions for resolving clients formwork issues
Site Control fast track construction projects in power sector and residential construction sectors. the responsibilities include but not limited to material flow management, material requisition, manpower planning and deployment on day to day basis, review of manpower output, setting out works concrete quality control in placement and ensuring the specified physical aspects of concrete complied with. snagging and defects rectification prior to handover, coordination with builder work requirements
