• Set and oversee the implementation of the technical standards and policies of ACIG across all areas including underwriting, claims management and reinsurance to ensure that profitability targets are met.
• Oversee the implementation of ACIG's systems and procedures and manage ongoing improvements that will be made to these to ensure that the company operates optimally and in compliance with SAMA's requirements.
• Manage the company's operations to ensure that capacity requirements are addressed while expenses remain under control.
• Manage the company's relationships with key service providers including reinsurers and third-party administrators.
Appointed in 1995 as Branch Manager in Jeddah Received "Employee of theYear" award in 1996. In 2001 promoted to management role as Regional Marine Manager covering the Arabian region.

• Gathering, studying and compiling underwriting information to ensure that the business and corresponding terms offered satisfied AIG's underwriting criteria. Classes of business underwritten included Property, Casualty, Marine, Motor, Financial Lines and Engineering. Preparing and reviewing submissions to regional profit center managers for their review and approval.
• Preparing and reviewing quotations to clients and brokers and follow up negotiations with clients / brokers to finalize the terms of insurance.

• Management oversight of 8 offices in the Arabian Region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Lebanon & Kuwait) with overall accountability for formulating and achieving Marine budget objectives.
