Project Description: Major scope involved 17.5KM long pipeline, inlet tie-in, separator, scrapper launcher/receiver,
2x100% 20MW motor driven feed gas compressor trains (Siemens) and common facilities. 1x100%
Instrument Air Compressor (FS Elliott). It involved 3 buildings; one substation building, an instrument
equipment shelter and an operator’s shelter.
- Major Equipment: ICSS (Yokogawa), MMS (BN), Anti-surge (CCC), PLDS (OptaSense), SCADA/RTU (Aveva), PI
(OSI Soft), cyber security, Alarm Management (Honeywell), HSSD (Tyco), ESD (Yokogawa), F&G (ICS
Triplex), F&G (Allen Bradley), IPCS/ECS (ABB)
- Responsibilities: Design, engineering, specification, medication scope, material requisition, technical evaluation, post
order vendor document review and approvals, FAT/iFAT, SAT/iSAT and construction/commissioning
support of the following control system:
- Wireless online corrosion monitoring system (Emerson) for piping and pipeline
- HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, F&G mapping, Alarm rationalization 3D modeling, all 3rd party studies and close-out
- Field risk analysis (FRA), method statements and supervising modification activities
- To ensure all punch items are closed before on-time delivery of material at site
- FOC network, LAN (SC/IT), Radio, Telephone, CCTV, dispatcher, TNMS, Access control, Hazardous
area head-counting system
- Achievements: Completed all shutdown tie-in within given shutdown period

2. Mender Full Field Development Project (
- 23 no. power supply skids (ABB) for new oil well heads, water injection, source wells and gathering
stations
- Major Equipment: ICSS (Yokogawa), WHCP (Proserve), Water-cut analyzer, MPFM (Haimo), SSSV/SSV/Choke
valves, water cut analyzer, v-cone flow meter, inergen system for buildings, F&G detectors, building F&G
system, HSSD, FACP etc
- Responsibilities: Design, engineering, specification, medication scope, material requisition, technical evaluation, post
order vendor document review and approvals, FAT/iFAT, SAT/iSAT and construction/commissioning
support of the following control system:
- 50km over-headlines (OHL) with OPGW
- Power distribution system, UPS and other fire and gas system
- Typically, in each well area major equipment consist of VFD ESP, Hydraulic Package Unit providing
hydraulic power to SSSV/SSV/Choke valves, water cut analyzer, v-cone flow meter, power supply skid

1. EPIC for Smokeless Flare and Blow-down System and New Control Room, FSP, Dukhan
- Project Description Detail engineering and design of Instrumentation and Control System for air-assisted smokeless
flare and blow-down system, Solar’s Turbo driven Flash Gas Compressor, FSP new control building
(NCB)
- Shifting of monitoring and control of existing plant control from existing control room to New
Control Building (NCB) and architectural modification of existing control building.
- Major Equipment New DCS (ABB), ESD system and F&G system (ICS Triplex), Solar Turbine Control System
(Turbotronic®), Antisurge Series 5
Brownfield job and the biggest achievement was migration of old control room to new control
building within planned time and given shutdown window

2. EPIC for Addition of New Source Water Well and Pump Management System at PWI-1 & 4
- Project Description Detail engineering design for upgrade of existing control system and instrumentation for additional
borehole pump, booster pump, pump management system, associated instrumentation, flow and
pressure control and oil in water analyzer.
- Responsibilities: Developed control system specification for modification and upgrade, specification of field
instrumentation, control valve and flow element sizing, oil in water analyzer, datasheets, layouts, block
diagrams, loop and termination drawings, HAZOP participation, process hook ups, instrument installation
details, MTOs etc.
- Achievements: Worked on multiple projects and led teams
3. EPIC for Supply of Sweet Fuel Gas to Dukhan Consumers
- Project Description Cumulative 80 km pipeline project, Custody and non-custody gas metering at 20 locations, Pipeline
Management System / Leak Detection System, Solar powered RTU panels at 20 locations connected via
Fiber Optic Cable link to new SCADA System at Master Station, Interfacing of new I/O points.
- Major Equipment: DCS (ABB), ESD (Hima, Triconex, ICS Triplex, FSC), F&G System, SCADA, PLDS in all locations
- Responsibilities: For above job responsibilities include design, engineering, specification, medication scope, material
requisition, technical evaluation, post order vendor document review and approvals, FAT/iFAT, SAT/iSAT
and construction/commissioning support of the above mentioned control systems
- Achievements: Brownfield work in 22 locations and to conduct site survey and gather correct data collection to
start with for detail engineering was a big achievement
- Variety of existing system brands and modification was another challenge
- Custody transfer metering in all 22 locations for sales gas
- Responsibilities development of specifications and datasheets for field instrumentation, analyzers and cables,
preparation of all required layouts, block diagrams etc as per CTRs.
- Technical evaluation of instrumentation part from licensor
- Conducted HAZID, HAZOP and SIL assignment workshops
- Achievements: Finished this FEED within short time to meet client’s requirememnt
3. FEED PMC Services for Reko Diq Gold and Copper Project-Pakistan
Client: Tethyan Copper Company, Australia
- Project Description: World’s no.5 gold and copper reserves in Reko-Diq location in Pakistan to provide FEED PMC
services to TCC
- Responsibilities: FEED Engineering, design, preparation of MR, data sheets, specifications, schedules and BOQs
- Technical Bid Evaluation for EPC phase and recommend potential BIDDER for each equipment include
review of documents/drawings developed by SNC Lavalin Canada (FEED Contractor) for the project on
Instrument design criteria and control system, shutdown system, fire and gas system for the process
facilities, control philosophies and telecommunication system
- Achievements: Mining experience for selection of instrumentation,
in the Project Management Team and following major
upgrade/revamping/modification projects were completed directly through OEMs
- Migration of control from old control room to new control room at Nitric Acid plant and replacement of
existing pneumatic panel mounted controller to (Yokogawa) DCS/ESD system
- Design, engineering, installation, commissioning of Clean Development Project (CDM) financed by UN
office for GHG at nitric acid plant for N2O
- Upgradation of old 3 nos. BBC steam turbine control system to TURLOOP CS (Alstom)
