• Assists doctors in the following areas: ENT Clinic, General Medicine Clinic, Ophthalmology Clinic and Dermatology Clinic by preparing claims, files and medical records; schedules patient’s appointment
• Takes accurate patient history and vital signs
• Assesses patient’s health status and complaints and refer to physician as necessary
• Works with co-workers to establish goals and priorities for nursing intervention.
• Makes nursing diagnosis and charts appropriate nursing orders
• Gives total care to assigned patient in accordance to patient care plan
• Explains procedures and treatments to patients
• Administers and observes any untoward effects of medication and IV therapy
• Valuates patient’s environment for safety and total well being
• Evaluates outcomes and effectiveness of nursing intervention
• Performs nursing responsibilities in Records/Admission Area, Treatment Area, Prenatal Area, Immunization Area, Family Planning Area, Labor and Delivery Room, Emergency Medical Services, Rural Health Units (Poro Lying-in Clinic, , Bangbangolan Lying-in Clinic, Pao Lying in Clinic and Saoay Lying-in Clinic)
