Site visit and verification of project location to check and assess all conditions required are met for the proposed project and raises concern and deficiencies and proposes solutions and alternatives to the parties involved in the
project.
Prepares Electrical Program of Works and detailed costs estimates of various projects of the office
Prepares S-curve and PERT CPM of proposed projects.
Preparation of Lighting, Small Power, ACU, Auxiliary, Fire and Gas, Grounding, Riser Diagram ACAD drawings for various DPWH Projects (Public hospitals, Schools, Multi-Purpose Building, Public Market Rural Water Works, Public Office Buildings etc.)
Calculation of Schedule of Loads (wire sizing, circuit protection, Generator and Transformer sizing including Short Circuit Calculation to cope with estimated design load of project on-hand.
Preparation of necessary documentation for proposed projects to be submitted for Bidding purposes.
Attend prospective contractor’s bidding meeting and awarding of projects.
Checking and progress monitoring of contractor’s progress and completion of assigned projects
Assist the Project Engineer in the implementation of various projects.
Prepares various reports on status of on-going projects of the Department.
Assist in reviewing and Preparation of Quality Control Plans and Procedures, making revisions and adjustments to current Documents to best fit the on-going projects QAQC plans and specification requirements.
Assist in the preparation of QAQC Work packs, Work Instruction and other methodologies.
Reviews and makes revisions of the current Project ITP, relevant inspection test sheets and Quality Control Forms.
Disseminates relevant information regarding QAQC activities to all concerned parties involved
Checks and verifies the project drawings and specifications to be familiar on the construction details, location plan and other details pertaining to inspection ensuring it’s the current revision and approved for construction.
Monitor and maintain updates of daily progress of inspection performed, balance inspections to be done and look ahead schedule for easy tracking and reporting.
Prepares necessary supporting documents needed to conduct quality control inspections and for document submission.
Conducts all necessary partial or full surveillance inspections and report all non-conformities met on ongoing electrical
works/installations on site.
Coordinates with other engineering dept. of any conflict or anomalies met on site on a timely basis so that corrective actions or measures can be done in advance of a scheduled site inspection.

testing, MV/LV Motor Solo run testing, Industrial & Building Lighting System installation and Illumination testing.
Functional test of Switchgears, circuit breakers, Push Buttons, Distribution/Lighting Panels etc.
Makes Follow-up Inspections necessary for Punch-list clearing.
Preparation and Compilation of accepted Inspection and test Reports for Final Hand-over to clients
Assist the QA Manager in timely execution of works, identify daily and weekly milestones for QC activities at site and develop action plan in advance.
Monitoring and inspection of fabrication/installation of Electrical and Instrumentation Equipment and related materials.

Report, notify and approves site modifications of electrical works.
Prepare field change request (FCR) for non-compliant installations.
Evaluates manpower, materials, equipment, tools and supplies for the work requirement. Coordinates the delivery schedule and disposition for timely and smooth implementation of the project.

Install/replace electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, receptacles, switchboxes, conduits, feeders, Use power quality measuring tools such multimeter to troubleshoot circuits for proper connection, read voltage and current parameters.
Perform participate on statistical process control like Failure mode equipment analysis, Mean time Before Failure to enhance productivity and lessen equipment failures/breakdowns
Regular check over of fire and safety equipment for plant safety.
Routinely Checks and monitors on MV & LV switchgears and associated safety devices for correct functionality and logs voltage/current and power consumption parameters.
Keep and record inventory of Equipment spare parts tools and and consumables

Conduct visual inspection of Equipment prior to start-up to ensure all circuits and equipment's are in accordance with the technical drawing and specification. All non-conformities met are reported as punch list and subject for rectification.
Isolation/ De-isolation of switchgears with lock out & Tag out procedure
Commissioning of High and Low Voltage Transformers, AC/DC Motors Starters and Switchgears, breaker and protective relays.
Conduct functional and general Illumination test of plant lighting system.
Daily monitoring of HV and LV switchboard.
