* Lead overseas branch, financials, and supply-chain of Pakistan office.
* Providing monthly income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow, and other
financial information with appropriate supporting documentation.
* Providing appropriate information to external auditors and assisting with the final preparation of
quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements.
* Recording of financial transactions as per International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) and
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) after verification.
I spearheaded the logistics, procurement, and vendor management of the Knowledge Management
Initiative (KMI) project of the Government of Pakistan, worth AED 2.5 million, and was
responsible for the following.
Procurement and Logistics management:
* Overseeing and managing the IT system that tracks shipments, inventory, and the supplies of
goods.
* Accessing organizational performance against company monthly, quarterly and yearly objectives
set forth.
* Assisting senior leadership with the preparation of the annual budget, obtaining line-item detail
from appropriate personnel.
* Handling and management of Local Purchase Order (LPO), import, and local purchasing.
* Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
* Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving of procurement
costs.
