`• Manage the fleet of company trucks and drivers
• Proactively communicating to clients and the status of their shipment.
• Ensure that goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload
• Tracking the shipment from pick up through delivery targeting cost reduction, freight savings, service and contractual requirements.
• Keep track of every vehicles activity through GPS tracking system.
• Work with various internal customers to ensure equipment for customer
arrives on-time and done cost-effectively.
• Manage relationship with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers to ensure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation.
• Control of operational / financial deviations between quotes and actual orders.
• Project Optimization by monitoring Mileage and other Project budgeting.
• Perform monthly reporting to management.
Major Achievements :-
• Completed the project for JT Metro - R.T.A (Dubai Metro Project) on time generating profit of AED 350, 000 in a month.
• Worked on projects for companies like Agility, ADSO and DHL successfully completing it on time.
• Increased the fleet operation of the company from 45 trucks to 75 trucks generating more revenue and reducing the cost of operation.
• Introduced GPS tracking system and Speed Limiter to all the trucks which resulted in more reliability in delivery and reduced maintenance cost.
• New Business development generated revenues of AED 1million/Annum
