Research and development of a novel oscillatory-Baffled-Microreactor for the production of fine crystals with narrow particle size distribution. Research activity were included:

Commissioning & StartUp Engineer at FLUOR

Participated in the completion, commissioning, start-up and operation of Al Nasiriya water treatment plant ( A $266 Million Project). This project supplied 10, 000 cubic meter per hour of fresh and drinkable water to five cities in Thi Qar province, southern of Iraq, with estimated population of 500 thousands. In addition, the project includes more than 100km of pipelines, 3 pump stations and five elevated storage tanks.

The main duties I carried out during the commissioning and start-up phase were:

► Commissioning and Start-up of pumps-control, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA and radio telemetry systems.

► Commissioning, starting-up and calibrating of different instrumentations such as: flow and pressure transmitter, static pressure and ultrasonic level transmitters, turbidity meters, Chlorine gas detectors and many other instrumentations and equipments.

► PLC, SCADA and HMI systems programming and debugging.

► Commissioning of booster pump valves, pressure sustaining valves and altitude control valves at the main plant the remote booster pump stations and the elevated water storage tanks.

► Conducted series of training workshops for the end user on the the basics of Programmable Logic Controller and the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of PLC and SCADA systems for the plant.

Chemical Cleaning Engineer at AL-YAMAMA ENGINEERING CO. (KBR SUBCONTRACTOR)

Successfully managed and complete the chemical cleaning and lube oil flushing for the NGL/LPG facilities for the South Gas State Co. at Khour azubair and Umm Qaser.
