MazikPakistan ( Division of Tyler Technologies Inc.) is a USA Based Software Development Company with School Management System, Human Resource and Finance Application and Dynamic Reporting (Goals) as their one of the major products in the USA Market. The products are installed in thousands of schools in USA Districts including Florida, Indiana etc.
Working on the School Management System which is one of the products of the company developed in Microsoft .Net Technology (ASP.Net, VB.Net and SQL Server 2000). Also Using SQL Server Reporting Services and Windows Services Applications for reporting and management. Responsible for the modules of Registration, Counselor, Parent Login, State Reporting and many other core modules of the system. My job is to work on the new requirements, analyze the new problems, suggest the solutions, implement the changes, develop the new modules, perform the unit testing of concerned modules, enforce interface standards, design and impelement the database level changes and work on the changes in modules which bounces back from the client and marketing team.
I work in close connection with the Marketing Team in USA and Senior Managers in Pakistan. Working with Mazik, I enjoy the coordination with Quality Assurance Department, Marketing People and System Analysts.
Completed the internship period at Kolcahi and worked on Perl, CGI and Javascripting to develop 2 Major Systems for the organization. The 3 months tenure provided me the opportunity to work in direct supervision of CTO, CEO and Senior Application Developer on the team of XROOTs.com providing online sotrage system to the world. The team includes me and another junior softawre developer. The system was built on Linux for security and licensing issues.
After demo and XROOTs to the client, the company moves us to the new project of NineYards.com which was Resume Management System for Job Seekers and Job Providers. The system provides many new features to the wold and the launch of this site proved to be a huge success for the company.
I was responsible for analysis, database desgin and core development of the system.
Worked on the Database Project of ZAFA Enterprises, Karachi. ZAFA Enterprises in Karachi Pakistan mainly deals with the Import and Export of Embroidery Threads from China, Taiwan and Other Countries and distributes it locally. The main concern of this small organization was to design a system to track their import and export details, with a clear picture of availability of stock and need when new import is required.
These system requirements were placed during our educational tenure, so we had a chance to implement the requirement gathering phase in an organized way. The team was comprised of 3 members and system was analyzed, designed, developed within a very short period of time.
Was also responsible to provide connectivity between computers and setting up internet connections throughout the company.
