• Manage / perform all activities related to financial accounting such as management of banking relationships, cash flow analysis & management of short and long term debts.
• Control, monitor and analyze the financial activities and results.
• Monitor financial positions of construction projects, Subcontractors and Owners accounts, and apply budgetary control.
• Control departmental costs and monitor departmental results.
• Establish and maintain accounts and credit policies.
• Sees to the accuracy and timely preparation of periodical management and other statistical reports, for submission to the Management.
• Ensures that the accounting department, policies and procedures are operating effectively and efficiently, with all the proper checks / controls in place to safeguard company’s assets, maximize profit and minimize losses through the efficient / shrewd usage of all expenses.
• Coordinates with the GM to ensure the preparation and compilation of periodical budgets and forecasts concerning all aspects of the company. Ensures that all budgetary controls are in place and reports clearly and concisely to the GM, when budget variances arise.
• Highlights to the GM on a timely basis, all potential and existing weaknesses and strengths in the financial structure of the Company.
• Wherever applicable, ensures that the full financial impact of all business decisions is looked into and addressed accordingly.
